Good value food

Usually good value and healthy food and we come here regularly. This week the service was particularly inattentive and slow which was disappointing, as it's usually fine. It won't put us off going again though as we like the food.

The Wait Staff are very helpful. Food is delicious. I find however that if eating inside it can be quite dark.

We had lunch here during peak season. The staff were friendly, food arrived quickly and was very good. The atmosphere felt a bit hectic and the outside tables don't really offer any "quiet corners", but it was more than adequate for a quick meal.

The food was okay, nothing great. Ordered a pizza and it was quite dry and hard to chew. The lady waiters were lovely but one of the men (I think he was either kitchen staff or manager that was waitering that night) was really rude. Asked him if he could please wipe our tables as they didn't wipe it when... More

I came for lunch and ordered the Cajun pizza. What I received was a pizza that actually had a very nice, crisp crust but the toppings were quite a peculiar combination, including both Cajun chicken and slices of banana covered in a sweet sauce. An interesting pairing, but it doesn't really work. The waiter who served me seemed rather disinterested.

This place is hard to spot amongst all of the other restaurants and bars down the main strip in Rotorua but I'm so pleased I stumbled upon it! I ordered the warm calamari salad and a side of kumara chips with avocado. There was no way I could finish either but they were both perfect! Amazing, fresh flavours and a... More

On sunday night my fiance, my friend and I tried to find somewhere for dinner along Eat Streat around 8pm. We found being a holiday weekend that lots of the restaurants were full and one had even run out of food! After trying several we resorted to Cafe Ephesus seeing that it had lots of free tables inside and out.... More

Queens Birthday Saturday night, and we hadn't booked for dinner ... restaurants in Eat Street were all full so we happily settled for Cafe Ephesus since we do like Mediterranean food. However, we were a bit disappointed as the wait was long, and the meals came out at very different times from each other. On the whole the food was... More
