Good food clean and tidy abit noisy when full of children in hoildays in the day . The view was great on a clear day . Don't know what it is like at night but I bet the lights would be great

We were down for a conference in Rotorua and decided to ask around for a restaurant recommendation. Local Shell station pump attendant was most helpful! The food was flavoursome, well presented and the waiting service was very good. Some people may have thought the sauce on the entree of garlic prawns might have been too much. But it was very... I have been to this restaurant many times over the years. it has pleasant food and an incredible view. It is just up the road from my mosaic and painting studio at 374 Clayton Road, so I often recommend it to out of town visitors. It has the most amazing early morning and evening photo opportunities of a view that... More

Superb food, excellent service, fabulous views. I'm so glad I remembered about this place - last visited about 25 years ago! We had a great evening.

Food was amazing, service attentive and discreet. Wine list good. Crisp white cloths, sparkling silverware and glasses welcomed you to the table. Views are beautiful. The place still needs some refurbishment in the entrance way especially, but heading in the right direction

The location is amazing food good but there are a few things that need attention to bring it up to the expected standard. Signage missing a letter, entrance reception floor needs attention, some areas could do with a coat of paint, cob webs over statue, the menus are tatty and need replacing. Staff attentive and food good.

Bit dubious after reading mixed reviews, but had also just read the restaurant had just got Beef & Lamb Award, plus the added bonus of knowing the views would be awesome. Firstly, yes the place needs an overhaul ... interior is dated and it could do with refurbishment. However the food and the service were both first class and couldn't... More

Fully and absolutely agree that this restaurant really needed a significant maintenance to improve the appearances and cleanness. The food served for our lunch (grilled fish & beef steak) was standard; not special, but also not bad. However, the staff were great, kind and helpful to render a fast and excellent service. The real selling point of this restaurant was... More

Recommended this restaurant by friends who visited a couple of years ago. It would appear that the restaurant has changed ownership and they haven't hired maintenance or cleaning staff. This restaurant is filthy, cobwebs, flaking paint and mismatched decor. What appeared to be the new owner has clearly had no experience in the service industry, his attitude and treatment of... More
