For the most part, this was a great meal, with reasonably sized and delicious servings. I would probably rave about the beer bread you can get as an appetiser, but they forgot to bring it and, by the time we asked about it, our mains were ready, so we skipped it. As I said, most of us had no complaint... More

The food is decent and the beer is great but the service is awful. We needed to get our menu cards by ourselves and the don't serve you drinks at the table not even after you had a meal ... for a ten bucks beer you just expect more!

We were very well looked after by the young woman with blonde hair, sorry i did not get your name! Had our meals, fish and chips as take away. The food was very good at reasonable price. Went back later for a beer because it was such a friendly place. Thanks very much

We ate there in November and it was one of the better dinning experiences on Eat Street. I agree with the other reviews that the service was inattentive but it was not as bad as several of the other restaurants on the street. I had the burger which was excellent, with egg and beetroot. I think it is funny to... More

Hi Gregory S. Thanks for that review. great to hear you enjoyed your visit to BREW. I'll take on board your comments re service being a bit inattentive. We are usually praised on our service, so I'll reinforce the need to regularly check in with guests. For some reason I decided to look up Wilton - man for such a... More

My husband and I often eat dinner here during the week. It's casual, reliable good pub food and great range of beers (or wine if you prefer). Service always prompt and friendly.

What are you going to eat if you come to New Zealand ? Lamb the very delicacy that they excel at and for which has sported thousands of sheep kiwi jokes. Witnessing the freshly prepared meals warming under the Bain Marie as the staff overlooked them dashing in and out empty handed, and yep as it turned out we were... More

Yep, one of the many eateries in Eat Street - awesome street I have to say. Not sure if we would return to be fair. We had a shared platter and it was "OK" Thats all I could say really. Husband had one of the craft beers which was served ice cold - not as it should be guys! May... More

Thanks for the review, Sally. I appreciate your feedback, even though I'm disappointed we didn't 'rock your world'. The comment about the temp of the beer is odd as I don't think anyone has told me our beer is too cold. We do often have live music at BREW, and are one of the busier night time venues in Rotorua... We spent a week mountain biking in Rotorua. We ate and drank on Eat Streat every night. Brew was a good relaxed venue for a drink, with a large range of draught and bottled beer. The food was good quality pub grub - the pizzas were excellent. Friendly service, occasionally inattentive.

Thanks WombatOne. We have a GREAT connection with the local mountain biking community, and really appreciate the support we get from local and visiting riders. Glad to hear you enjoyed BREW. We are proud of the service standards we have, and ensuring we remain attentive to guests is important to us (and sometimes challenging when we get so busy), but... More

Delicious locally brewed beer, especially the IPA's. We also had a chicken burger and the beetroot salad which was pretty good but not stunning. Service was excellent though.

Thanks Kajurria, appreciate your kind words about the IPA's - definitely my favourite style of beer! And appreciate your feedback about our food. Come back and see us again one day. Cheers, Nige More

A nice, lazy Sunday isn't complete without drinking a beer in the sun. Fortunately, BREW had a great little outdoor patio out back where I curled up and read a book whilst enjoying a couple of great beers and decent fries. Service was prompt, attentive, and friendly.
