Family friendly and lovely staff

This was a welcome stop. Great coffee and nice menu for my 2 boys. Free Wi-Fi, local advice and colouring to keep the boys amused while I surfed the endless web.

We visited Urbano late February. Although I dont live in Rotorua I have been several times before and it is always a nice meal. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the place is always very busy so remember to book. My only complaint is that the prices are a bit on the steep side and the meals tend to be... More

The atmosphere is pleasant and organised. The wait staff are attentive and cheerful. Although the menu is varied iit still provides the favourites, and for a good price. A good investment in dining.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service received at Urbano. We ate dinner here for our first night in Rotorua and enjoyed it so much we chose to go back for our second (and last) night. Attentive staff and the owners show they appreciate your business.

Went here on recommendations from hotel we were staying at, had a look at reviews on here before and we decided to give it a go. The service was great and menu options good however food is in no way a match to its price tag so in that way was slightly disappointed. Food was nice but not worth the... More

My husband and I had dinner there two nights in a row. Among the highlights for us were the duck confit and the venison. We had a nice pinot noir each night. Service was professional and atmosphere great. Highly recommended.

Deciding to have dinner at the bistro saved the walk from our hotel into town after a day of sight seeing. Perhaps not somewhere to visit with children unless for a special occasion, a burger was priced at $25. I chose the eye fillet cooked perfectly, and paired with many different elements. My fellow dinner chose the venison which she... More

The food was good and fresh, reasonably priced but quite a long wait. Luckily, they had a bucket of crayons and colouring book on hand to keep my kid entertained!

There were four of us; we didn't stint on the drinks: three by the glass & a bottle. That bottle, of Aust Cab Sav would be about max $15 in the store. $41 here. White wine by the glass $11.00. Anyway, our half of the bill came to $137. A chicken Caesar salad, main size, was $32. Having said all... More

very friendly staff, great menu, very good food, and great value. the prices was not bad at all, and definitely worth it. although we did have a weird experience dining at the same time as three older womans in most likely their 50's, playing One Direction on their Ipad, singing along with it, I don't blame the restaurant for that....
