My chickpea salad came out without chickpeas and when I enquired about it I was snootily told it wasn't a chickpea salad. When I looked at the menu afterwards and saw it was supposed to be a chickpea salad the waitress barely apologised. On telling another waitress she profusely apologised and called the manager who sent over two glasses of... More

We chose Urbano for no other reason than that it was near our hotel on a rainy night. We arrived without reservations and, although they were busy, set up a table for us and even moved us when the bar became crowded and a bit noisy. Our lamb and venison dinners were great and the staff could not have been... More

I turned up on a Saturday evening with no booking but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food and service was great and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only downside I found for this restaurant was the price. Mains up around $40 is high, and starting to enter the ballpark of some very very nice restaurants.

Great cafe we visited for lunch. Clean bathrooms and the meal was very pretty. The staff was a kind and the food was great!

A friend and I called in to eat at Urbano during lunchtime recently and the first word we both uttered was "WOW!". it is a lovely quiet place, good off-road parking, easy to get to, with contemporary decor and welcoming staff. The menu is varied and has a good price range. We were served promptly, given a choice of tables,... More

Despite arriving, without a booking, on a very busy Friday night, we had excellent service throughout the evening and a delicious meal. I had the lamb, my colleague the duck and we were both very happy. We also liked the contemporary decor and the atmosphere - a nice humm but not noisy.

We had a very good dinner here after a long service wait (the restaurant did compensate with a free side serving). This was not too far from our motel and was the closest option (there seem to be quite a clump of motels on the south side of the central district without good restaurant options). May be less expensive other... More

Urbano is on Fenton Street but not in the main part of town. We had Sunday brunch there, quick service, great food. Four of us ordered the hobo which was lovely. I'm vegetarian so asked for the chorizo on the side to give to my husband, one of our party didn't want the hollandaise and the orders come out correctly.... More

Loved this restaurant. Beautiful food and gorgeous decor, this restaurant was fabulous! Since we ate there several times, we had quite a sampling of the menu. Being vegetarian, I had the Vegetarian Main, Wild Rocket Salad, several of the sides - they were all delicious! My son had the Chicken Main one evening and the Pork Main another. He cleared... More

My third time back to Urbano but this time for dinner. We hadn't booked, it was a Monday night and the place was humming. Luckily for us a table was just leaving so the waitress showed us to the bar area and said she would set up for us. Done in no time - we were seated, menus in our... More
