Great breakfast

Called in with the family and had a suberb breakfast. Tasty bacon, yummy mince and perfectly cooked eggs. Even did a special 'little' bacon and toast for our 2 year old.

What a great value for breakfast! The 2 slices of bacon served with the eggs are enormous and delicious. There are a few tables outside with a view of the beach & bay. The coffee is pretty good. I have also tried the thai chicken pie here and it is SOOO yummy.

Friendly guys at this bakery. After completing the 1st half of the Hururu Falls - Waitangi walk we needed a fuel stop. Kris bakery did the job perfectly. Two mugs of tea, a steak pie and a fruit muffin, marvellous, the Steak pie was really tasty. Try it !

We are backpackers from America and we sat down to have breakfast at this place. The food was good, home style cooking, where the older cook was happy to accomidate my specialized requests of the bacon and eggs. We unfortunately had our backpack stolen from outside their store, which was not their fault or responsibility at all. They were more... More

On TA recommendations, we tried the pies. They were OK, but nothing special. We have had much better (and worse) during our travels through NZ. We tried to buy some bread rolls for lunch - at just after noon there was virtually no bread left to buy. We went to Countdown instead, where they have very good baguettes for $2.50.

Clean & lovely smells of freshly baked pies / pastries / bread......... small and functional homegrown Kiwi hospitality & excellent service. Huge sandwiches and super-flaky pies with a huge variety of local seafoods featured in the super-pies.... you better bring your hunger on.... this small fresh-bakery by the epic seaside of Paihia certainly serves up Osum Food! Folks will travel... More

For an unassuming little bakery in a small town in the south pacific The selection and the taste of the in house freshly baked pies, bread, and breakfast menu is enough to rival the best in the world! If your in the bay if islands this small bakery is the place to indulge!

Clean and modestly priced. Not the best we have eaten but by no means the worst. The women at the counter seemed more interested in their children and the delivery driver than serving us. I feel the previous reviews have been quite generous

We were hungry and saw the bakery sign. Little did we know we were the first clients to try their new lunch menu. I had the BLT - it was enormous and well filled (could have done with just half, but couldn't stop eating it!). Others in our group enjoyed a calamari salad. Would recommend to other hungry travellers.
