great way to relax

The food is very good and a good range for pub grub, if you want to watch the sport action a great area for this, and if not you are not annoyed by the back ground noise, lovely views across the bay to Russell. The only draw back a very limited wine selection

I went to watch the Warriors play and then the Hurricanes. The lagers were fine and I enjoyed the games and the banter with the other people watching. I did not eat so can't comment on the food although others did eat and it looked OK. However the guy who served me each time had a surprisingly unfriendly attitude. If it... More

My boyfriend and I ate here one day mid to late January this year. We were up visiting from Queenstown which is notoriously expensive, so we were pretty surprised that the burgers here were $18 each, but we figured they must be big. Back in Queenstown we worked in a restaurant where I was the manager and my boyfriend was... More

Ordered calamari and fries and a couple of beers, very friendly service, good food, great location to relax and enjoy the views. Tables clean and tidy with good music playing. Had another couple of cold beers and enjoyed the sun. Would eat there again,no worries.

Service was awesome. Beer was cold. They had run out of snapper so we ordered the blue cod with chips and coleslaw. Meal was average but they did make sure the fish was not over cooked, Cricket was average as India did not win.

A few questions for you from the “American Sl#t”: 1) Why are you in the restaurant business? 2) Do you enjoy the frequent conflict that you experience or does it leave your stomach in knots? 3) After following me back to my accommodations and screaming “YOU AMERICAN SL#T” at me twice from the end of the driveway, I’m wondering how...
