Just basic food and service

Looked like a good place to have a quiet snack and drink, service very basic as was the food and condition, cleanliness of the tables. The toilets were in poor condition its a shame with the location it could be a real winner.

Worst Caesar Salad I have ever had. The gentleman who served me told me it was my fault for not ordering the dressing on the side. Refused to do anything about it.

We walked in here because it was really the only place that wasnt packed out. Should have taken that as a sign. The chicken burger I ordered was far below average. My friends ordered pizzas which we stared at for a while wondering if they were even cooked. My friend tried one slice and couldnt eat anymore. The waiter(?)/guy serving... More

Ordered the Ham and pineapple pizza and when it was brought out it was not cooked, the ham smelled weird and was slimy. To top it off it was $20. I couldn't eat it. A pizza! I had a couple of bites and felt sick the ham was definitely off. I hate complaining about food but this was inedible! When... More

My partner and I decided to pop in for a pizza dinner with a couple pints . We thought $25 was reasonable for a pizza to share as it was advertised as " meatlovers" promising an adequate level of bang for your buck however the pizza served was definitely a 2.99 pre packed supermarket pizza , somewhat concealed by a... We had just returned from a very successful fishing trip with loads of Snapper and Kingfish. On the way to our motel popped into the Splash Bar and the Chef said yes to cooking up some of the Kingfish for us and we left it with him while we got cleaned up & came back an hour later. We had... More

Ordered the mussels and a chicken burger. Mussels were luke warm, sauce was congealed, bread was stale. Ate a few but then left them whilst my partner finished his burger. Spoke to the manager who wanted to show us CCTV footage of me eating the first few to prove they weren't that bad. What?! A terrible experience, handled very badly... More

The stench of old oil and the lack of customers eating at 7.30 at night was a slight warning. Drinks were ok. Service was, let us put it this way, I think a few other customers must have punched him in the nose as it was not quite straight and they were not quite happy. We ordered our food at... More

Food here is good and fresh. You have to order at the bar, even if you are the only one seated. Reasonably prices. I recommend the fried calamari rings.
