Best fish burger

Walked in to Vinnies. Great service. Can't believe the size of the fish burger. Came to me wrapped up. I opened it up and a very well presented burger.

One of the best fish and chips I have tasted throughout New Zealand. Would definitely recommend, especially the grilled fish and chips.

This is a typical New Zealand fish and chip shop. The service was quick and the single operator on staff did a good job of keeping everyone happy. There were not many customers that night so it didn't take long. You get the 'normal' things e.g. different types of fried fish, chips, sausages which were generous is portion and rather... More

Absolute brilliant fish n chips. Cooked so fresh. Not a huge place and a bit cramped ordering but !!! Well worth it.

You can tell a place is great to eat when there is a line and all seating is filled!! We loved the fish and chips and friendly service, we were lucky to get a seat, but my only beef would be that due to space constraints a lot of people had to take their food with them (but it is... More

Vinnie's provided a couple of great fish and chips dinners (take-away) while we were recently in lovely Paihia. The local 'Hoki' fish was excellent and with enough chips to feed a giant, the two of us were happy! Happy, firendly service too. Try it!

we decided to have a takeaway meal at Vinnies on friday night looking at the prices for our meal we thought at this price it must be great to our horror the Snapper we got was inedable due to the batter being still raw in the middle also it was to thick the potato fritters my wife had were like... Nice large burgers, good value for money but a bit over priced, do need doofers to be able to eat them without the mess. Add your own salt on the chips was a nice touch

I went here for lunch and found that the $9 fish and chips was good, but the price makes sense as it is in the main street in a touristy town (ie you can get a single scoop of ice cream for more than $6 around the corner). The food was made fresh to order and it was very quick,... More
