Excellent service and the chap who served us was very friendly with a great sense of humour. The food was well cooked. The fish is not the cheapest we've had but very nice. Highly recommended.

This was the first and only place we ate at the bay of islands and we were there for 3 days... thats how delicious and cheap it was!! Their breakfast sandwiches are to die for and they were offered all day and they fish and chips was well worth the price! Also the workers were SOOO nice! Considering making a... More

Got a chicken burger and it didn't have real chicken in it - had fish n chips and they weren't the greatest either, think this place caters for the tourists, bet the locals don't buy from here

We stopped at Vinnie's for breakfast, lured in by the $5 price. The egg, bacon and cheese BAP with plum sauce was filling and yummy and a great value. We enjoyed talking to Vinnie - very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to visit.

Had arrived late friday in Paihia to start the Easter weekend and were looking for a quick tasty dinner for the family. Decided to go to the small local fish and chip shop, which turned out to be an excellent choice! The young Englishman who served us was very friendly and helpful. We ordered two burgers, a toastie and some... More

Great fish & chips with a good price - skip the battered mussels/scallops! The batter is lite on the fish, not so much on the other seafood items.

For $11 we got the freshest John Dory, scallops, mussels and a scoop of chips. Not too oily, crispy or dry. The service was slick and the food great to just cross the road to the small park or take around the bay to eat on the beach.

What a revolting place this is. We arrived in Paihia around 6pm and decided to try out the local fish and chip shop. We paid $45 for three people. The mussels were dry, the potato fritters literally inedible – we couldn’t bite through them. The best part was the fish, since it was of average quality but it was a... More
