trip Advisor did not let us down on this restaurant. We got a chicken dish and a spinach dish. Both were flavorful with just the right amount of heat to not over power the taste. Paul the owner came by to check in with us and we ended up chatting for a while. We shared with us how he learned... More

Not surprised this is rated #1 on TripAdvisor, the food here is great. One of the better Indian restaurants we tried in New Zealand. Do make a reservation, we tried walking in on a Friday night and had to come back an hour later to get a table.

Really enjoyed the food here and the staff were very friendly and warm. I have to only give 4 out of 5 because I really didn't enjoy the desserts. Would recommend though.

Fantastic restaurant. Really surprised at what fantastic value it was for the quality of food and service. We had a vegetarian platter to start (featuring fantastic paneer and the best samosa ever tasted in our lives) and two mains. The butter chicken was incredible and very memorable. All up including a drink each was $75. Fantastic attentive service and great... More

My wife and I had an early dinner here on a Saturday night. We were not dressed for the occasion but the staff never made us feel uncomfortable. The complimentary entree was a very clever combination of flavors that awakened our taste buds. We ordered two curries, garlic naans and mango lassi's which we delicious. There were very generous portions... More

The folks here appear to take great pride, not only in how the food tastes, but also presentation. It was a delightful evening experience, and the building itself is worth the view.

We were pleased to find this restaurant, within walking distance of our hotel. The building is a little industrial but the decor and fittings make the restaurant comfortable. The service was good. We really enjoyed our curries - there was a good choice - and the wine list was impressive.

We were enjoying a 4 week tour of NZ and to be honest I was missing my curry. Back home we go every Friday, and have been doing so for a number of years. So arriving in Napier and checking Trip Advisor we were delighted to find that this was the top rated restaurant in town and just had to... More

The minute we walked in the door we were greeted with wonderful service. All the staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. An amazing list of beers and Whiskies. Food was served attractively and hot. All dishes were flavoursome and great sized portions. Breads were fresh and irresistable. The overall experience of the evening was memorable and I would highly recommend Indigo.
