Flash for a pub

Great décor and interesting artefacts all around the place. A huge restaurant with ample seating for large groups. Typical pub meal. We got exactly what we expected with good service too.

Service was very poor, constantly interrupted by numerous wait staff asking if we wanted drinks or food even though someone different asked us 5mins earlier, food quality for the mains was poor but good for dessert! Only plus side was when someone in my family complained about the quality of their meal they were given it free n also offered... More

1 plate showed up 30 minutes before the rest, which turned out to be for the wrong table. Probably wasn't worth the $33 for the surf and turf but was ok. Good atmosphere with the Chiefs game on. $8.50 for a beer?!? Think I'll go back to having crap Australian beer at an RSL for less than half that price.

I had lunch with a mate here. I ordered the Bangers and Mash from the Lunch menu and a beer. Approximately 20 minutes after dining here I began to vomit uncontrollably and had to take 3 days off work with excess sweating and fever - all the symptoms from food poisoning. I had to go to the Doctor and was... More

There are 4 of us and we waited for 45 minutes before our food was served. The manager gave us free drinks after we made a complaint. The pork belly was so bad that it was tasteless and the skin was not crispy at all. We ordered a steak to be cooked medium well but it came out well done.... More

Food good, staff excellent and a very popular lunch stop. Nice decor and nice eating place setup outside. Good selection of beers and toilet facilities always clean.

Was looking firward to a nice dinner and a quiet drink before heading to see a movie. We were told at the bar that in order to have a beer we needed to be seated and order a meal - knew that as its Easter subday! We went to a table and no body came. My husband went back to... More

Nice outside area but sadly like many other pubs full of smokers! Went outside as too cool inside. Too many flies. Perhaps some citronella candles? Overall, Food good, and pub like blighty.

Every time I have been to this place I come away disappointed. Not only with the food on offer, but with the ambiance of the place. Also very expensive.....come on guys lift your game if you want patrons to come back!!!!

It's a nice pub with an English theme which was good for me. As well as Boddingtons and Speights they sell Kilkenny which is always a good beer and which I always drink. We usually sit in the outside area but the interior has a lot of interesting artifacts to look at. The beer is good and the staff friendly... More
