Beautiful atmosphere, great customer service, we ordered a signature and classic high tea. Both very delicious. It was a cold rainy day but that did not seem to deter the other customers (it seemed quite busy) If you are a coffee drinker- Be warned!! They do not sell coffee!!

My daughter and I are still talking about the fabulous High Tea that we enjoyed this morning. The experience started with walking to the Tea House with views of the plantation and the large statues of people involved in the tea making process, The line of large teapots and cups leading to the Tea House were great to look at... Stopped in here after seeing a sign on road. They would probably get more custom if they advertised what they are at the gate on the main road. It is only the fact that we went looking that we found what they are. They sell a variety of teas and infusers however no prices on them. Upon asking for a... More

We went for high tea as a day trip since it was about an hour and a half from Auckland. The signature high tea has more exciting and gourmet selection but my in-laws preferred the traditional high tea . A lovely experience but probably as a day trip destination I have to plan some more interesting things to do along... More

The food was good but expensive. Great location. BUT there were lots of flies all over our table and they spoilt the experience. Zeelong please do something about the flies.

We had my sister's wedding at Zealong. It was beautiful. Amazing food, great service and awesome catering for everyone (even those of us with food allergies). Highly recommend!

If you are eating at the Zeelong it is far better to order an entree or Main than the classic tea package. Really a poor attempt at an English high tea service. For NZ$37.00. sandwiches were small, on white bread, in all rather disappointing Th fish of the day while pricey turned out to be much better value. Order the... More

For my birthday I was given a voucher for high tea at Zealong by a friend who knew I would be visiting New Zealand from the UK. I have been to the Ritz in London for afternoon tea twice in my life. In my opinion high tea at Zealong is even more delicious. The cake stand is absolutely beautiful. Everything... More

I had been to the plantation a few years ago & had the tea experience, however this time I was attending a birthday lunch. Upon arrival we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes to be attended to, as the small reception was full of patrons waiting to pay.Other people, were also waiting, with us, crowded in the entrance way....
