We have done this twice now over the last two years. It was a very interesting experience and a great night out to see how the food was actually prepared right in fron of you. The Chef was entertaining and ver friendly. Matching wine was beautiful. Would go back again for sure!

Disappointing about sums up our experience. We were seated in what felt like the hallway near the door to the outside area and the extraction system wasn't working. The food itself was fine, not particularly memorable. What sticks in my mind is the smell of cooking meat while we ate dessert (due to the extraction system not working properly). An... More

An apologetic young man on the telephone said I could not book Chef's table on the evening of the morning I had called (despite website saying there was availability), and I had to call Gill, which I did immediately, but no answer, so left a message, with my name and number and the request for some dinner. No reply all... More

The good is pretty good but I don't feel it's good value for money. It's priced like fine dining but the atmosphere and service are not. The food is above average but not worth the cost. Great place for after work drinks and food but it's not a great spot for a romantic evening.

This was a great food theatre night with the wow effect in many of the courses. Our only niggle was the rather surly person involved with the drinks. Loved the dessert particularly.

The chefs table is not only fantastic food it is an awesome overall experience. 8 couples with 2 chefs explaining each stage of the preparation and concepts behind the degustation menu. You are taken on a trip to unique flavours and you are provided with understanding

We were hosting some overseas visitors staying at the Hilton, and wanted something nice somewhere close to there. I had not dined at Euro before, but was aware of its fine reputation, and that it could be relied upon. The meal was fine, good quality, fresh...but nothing memorable or distinctive for our visitors or us, and rather expensive for that.

The menu at Euro is consistent and well executed, supported by a good quality wine list. My favourite dish was the house speciality rotisserie chicken. While the service attempts to be top end it doesn't quite make the grade. The atmosphere was best when the restaurant was full, but given its size we felt somewhat isolated as it emptied out... More

We came here for a special dinner with my son Ruwan and his girlfriend Hannah. My husband Tim and I follow a plant-based diet and were hoping that Euro would be able to make us something special. As always, I checked beforehand, and were told that there were several options on the menu and that the chef could make us... More

What a great meal and excellent service, would make the trip from CHCH again just for the meal. I'm pleased that we missed going to the test match and went to Euro Instead
