We went in on a Saturday afternoon after hearing good things about euro and ended up staying for most of the afternoon. We sat outside in the sun in the best setting and had a great view of the harbour. Our waiter Ben was wonderful. He was attentive and knowledgeable and we were never left needing anything. The food was... More

Our experience began with a call to the restaurant on Saturday morning just after 9am and Simon Gault answered the phone... a great start! A beautiful winter's lunch in the sun on the deck with an absolutely fantastic and knowledgeable waitress (didn't get her name but she was South African) who could not be faulted. It was our anniversary so... More

Upon hearing about the crayfish deal for the month of May, we decided to book in for a Friday lunch. From the moment we arrived the dining experience was above our expectations. We were met by friendly staff who seated us quickly and promptly introduced himself to us and explained a little about Euro, its chefs and gave us a... More

Heard about Euro for a long time. The owner Simon Gault also owned Shed 5 in Wellington, I think. Both are renowned for European style seafood and extensive wine list, at waterfront. I knew Euro is doing a special - half a lobster poached for only $15. We went today and was not disappointed. It's a Thursday but lunch time... More

When I booked this restaurant for a meal out with my husband I asked for a view, and we got one. We were placed with a full view of the whole of the kitchen and what a night it was. A big thanks to Robbie J our waiter, who without a doubt made our night memorable. The food was outstanding,... More

Went on a wet, cold rainy day. Warm inviting by the fire. Very hospitable staff. Crayfish special was good, we had the hot option in garlic butter. Vegetables and salad and bread were all very tasty. Good wine recommendations. Not cheap but a lovely lunch with good friends

Loved the food here, the chef here is apparently a judge on NZ Masterchef & so he should be the food was delicious especially the chicken & blue eyed cod. We had a conference dinner here and it was great fun. The only downside was one of the head waiters was a little rude & full of himself. He kept... More

Having been to some restaurants over the years and returned to expect another good experience only to find myself asking "What has happened" , I am happy to report that every lunch and dinner experience at Euro is a repeat of consistent excellent food, wine and service. A very good reason for many future returns. In fact I note that... More
