Have been several times over the years and always found it to be a consistently good place. It nice to know that when you go back it still maintains its standards unlike some other restaurants.

Although we did not have a booking, the restaurant was able to accommodate us on the deck, first offering us a table adjacent to a very large and loud group of men, but seeing our reaction offered a quieter table at the other end of the deck. Although the restaurant does not have a direct view of the harbour, its proximity to a marina gives it a fresh feel. My hapuku and mussel chowder was just right in taste and thickness. The snapper main course was piquant with ginger and other condiments. Fresh and refreshing.

Always great food and service. Cant beat the location for lunch on a fine day. Favorite is the salt and pepper squid.
