Eight restaurant in the Langham is magnificent. The choice of food is amazing and each station has an experienced chef who certainly knows his/her job. Service is at an A+ level. The food is delicious and I will certainly be going back there in the future. I would recommend this restaurant to any person who enjoys an excellent meal with... More

Really enjoyed the experience, having booked a table here for my husbands birthday, the food was delightful, the service impeccable and overall experience from end to end was great. I felt that the cost for lunch matched the experience that we had and would definitely go back. If you're looking for an enjoyable lunch with a wide variety of food,... More

Decided to Eight it after hearing people at the Warriors game telling us they had a fantastic experience and we just had to try it! So, we did. Not sure what the fuss was about though. I thought the quality of the food and wine was no better than Rydges in Rotorua, just nearly double the price is all. Don't... More

Amazing buffet! Eight is called Eight because of the 8 stations at the restaurant. There's a lot to choose from- and no shortage of food so I suggest you scope out what there is to eat first before you start digging in. For even better value, you could go Five Star Eight Escape and go to Eight as part of... More

We were there with a family group of 10 and the tastes of everyone was able to be met. Very impressed with being able to see our food being cooked as we waited. Only criticism was that some food stations such as the seafood didn't have enough variety to have a seafood plate and had to mix to many good... More

Disorganised, cluttered, crowded, even at dinner screaming kids crawling on the floor. Poor value for money at $80 pp for a buffet. Choice wide, so quality not achieved. Hot food on cold plates. Overall very poor for a supposedly 5 star.

Last year we visited Eight for breakfast and loved it. Not sure what has changed, but today's visit was really disappointing. It was mothers's day and as we wanted to have a special breakfast we decide to pay the $70. 00 per head. I have never Written a scathing review for any restaurant but the price for what we received... More

Elegant and oh, so special. Get dressed up for this and make an afternoon of it. High Tea has never been so satisfying. No dinner necessary after this feast.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Eight at the Langham in 2012. We tried eight different cuisines and they were amazing. The service was just brilliant. We would love to go back again!
