One of the top craft beer bars in Auckland

Super friendly service, always fresh tap beer with enthusiastic knowledgeable bar staff. The food is very good, and lots of nice little freebies everywhere. The atmosphere is great, although the interior is a bit small

Sometimes on a Sunday you just NEED to go somewhere unpretentious, where you can sit down and enjoy an epic burger and a couple of proper beers. This is where you should go...friendly staff, a wide range of craft beers, proper hearty meals...and an al fresco vibe with lots of seating looking out to the park. Thank god for the... More

This is the kind of place that you return to time and time again so that you can try everything on the menu. I love that this establishment that only serves craft beer. Their menu is well crafted too and it was hard to choose just one thing for lunch. I had the pulled pork burger with bacon gravy (insert... More

They have recently changed their menu a couple of weeks ago and we thought we would stop by to check it out. This is one of the few places in Auckland where I have seen chicken and waffles so I had to give it a go. Was not disappointed. There was plenty of bacon and maple syrup (with even extra... More

What a lovely place at the start of Newmarket. Had a great lunch here. A good menu but what impressed us the must was you could design your own salad by ticking a checklist what ingredients you wanted- made to order. For $12 you could have allsorts of veges and paid a bit extra for cheeses and meats. It was... More

This place was quite good. Only confusion was that you need to order from the bar. We stopped by on the way to the airport and despite being busy the food came out quite quickly. I had the chicken tacos, they were excellent, my sister had a pizza the margarita and wasn't too impressed. And her boyfriend had the sliders,... More

Very cool place. Great vibe and friendly knowledgeable staff. We had heard great things about the local beers so made sure to stop in for a beer. We decided on a tasting paddle of 5 beers and settled in on the bean bags out on the beer garden. Ordered the Ribs and boy, were they delicious, the meat just fell... More

I was lucky enough to be recommended The Lumsden to hold my 40th Birthday Celebration, and I was clever enough to choose to do so! Right from the moment I arrived to set up the staff were nothing but outstanding. Nothing was a problem for them, and they went above and beyond what they needed to - even popping out... More

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! LAZY!!! RACIST!!! STAFF. I am not a person to write a review unless it was really good or really really trully bad and horrible. I was so disgusted with their service and how they treat a customer. The bar has a great atmosphere and It's a such a shame to have such a lazy, racist staffs. I... More

Dear reviewer, Although we appreciate all reviews about our establishment so that we can continue to improve, there are instances where we must take a stand.
