A constant spot for our family

Love love love Me Ne Frego, as the food is DIVINE and the ambience is nice. Favorites include: bruschetta, pomorola and goloso. P.s... Some of the wall art is not exactly child appropriate ;)

A modest street frontage, easily missed, leads into an intimate restaurant with two dining rooms. The one at the front has an attractive table beside the window. The Italian food is authentic and you could be in Rome when you receive the pasta dishes. Also outstanding are the meat dishes, especially the lamb rack which is to die for. Service is... More

Wonderful flavoursome Italian food to die for. Wine list good. Owner delightful. Empty when we arrived (early) but filled up and was turning people away on a midweek night, always a good sign. Book.

We go here often, usually for a mid week dinner. Consistent good service and good Italian food. Love the quirky chef. :-)

We were 2 families with a total of 4 kids (8 pax) - from the front, it didn't seem the restaurant was catered for familiy dining (all the tables were for couples or quartet). However, the owner suggested we proceeded to the room at the rear of the restaurant. It was a great suggestion as that kept us from disturbing... More

Just what I want in an Italian restaurant a cosy homey yummy feeling. Delicious food I had poro pork sausages with borlotti beans. Chianti was perfect and the restaurant was crowded on a Thursday night. It's hard to explain the difference in food quality so just go and eat. You won't regret it.

Restaurant was small and cosy and the food was great! My favourite kind of place. Two of us had pasta with really tasty sauces and the other had the beef cheeks which was fantastic. Started with the pate and bruschetta and was simply 'yum'. We'll be back :)

Date nite dinner before movies at the Lido just a few metres up the road from Me ne Frego. First time diners we took a chance here on Friday nite 7pm as from the road driving past the front of house restaurant was full. .. which is always a good sign. We were warmly greeted and ushered to a table... More

We dined on a Sunday night so the restaurant was not overly busy and we were served quite quickly. The standard of the food was very good, with plenty on the plate and at a reasonable price. I certainly will return again.
