We came here for dinner and the food was served within 10-15 minutes. We ordered the garlic prawns, cod, barramundi and seafood platter! Everything ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly. Although they forgot to bring our mashed potatoes, but it was ok cause we were full.

If you want (as I often do!) fish cooked as it should be i.e. just right, not overcooked & dry at a reasonable price Joe's fits the bill. If you want tablecloths & style this is not the place to go. We visited twice & the only reason for not going back again was that as much as we love... More

Great good and a wonderful location. I'd definitely go back, even the standard fish and chips was good and the serves are very generous.

This is a recurring theme, a specialist seafood restaurant, that is just ok. Again if you don't eat seafood, there is little else. Wizen up, not all members of a family eat fish. The setting was just average, right on the water but could do better, staff were adequate, ( please do not ask is your meal ok, if you... More

Joe's fish shack is one of our favourite place to eat in Fremantle. Its has the best view from the rear verandah and the staff are always friendly & Obliging. The food is always very nice and crayfish reasonably priced. I love the seafood chowder which is always nice and the seafood in it is plentiful. Compared the other places... More

Found the prices to be reasonable, the service was not as fast as what would have been expected, but the fries, and snapper were worth the wait.

The venue is fabulous, and location spot on, but I had the seafood platter for one and was a tad disappointed. There was nothing wrong with it, but it was a bit dull, and slightly undercooked and the chips were soggy. Improve on the chips, and you will get another star!

Yesterday my husband and I took two interstate visitors to the take away part of Joe's Fish Shack (Joe's to go). We have found the quality in the past to be excellent. We ordered one serve of chips, 4 pieces of snapper and one garden salad. The cost for this was in excess of $60 and the fish was almost... More

Went on a quiet night but I guess this place pumps on weekends. Had the seafood platter for two which includes a full lobster. Service was good, the seafood fresh and excellent. Expensive but lobster/crayfish is costly everywhere. Some great artefacts on show here and the restaurant sits on the waters edge. Nice sunset beams in through the big glass... More
