It's becoming an institution for us, so any time we go around the area and take the kids to Hide Park, this is the next step: lunch at Tra Vinh. Been there now a countless of time (maybe 12 or 15) always at lunch or late lunch. Kids always go for a combination stir fry with egg noodles, it's not... More

Real authentic viet food. Nothing fancy, not fine dinning but good quality. Service is fast and food is consistently good. Been here many times and has become a regular for me when i need to have a quick simple good value meal. Beef pho is the outstanding dish.

The real cook must be on a break, holiday or definitely was not on the premise today! We had terrible pho, broth was dark, oily and artificially sweeten. Yuck, Other dish the combination noodle was unedible, uncooked noodle swimming in a thick tasteless sauce, and the beef tasted very strange very plastic, unpleasant. I won't be bother and won't come... More

Travelling through Perth on business, we asked the taxi to take us to Chinatown, where we hoped to find a good Vietnamese restaurant (such is our usual practice). We chanced upon Trà Vinh, just north of the main Chinatown district on William Street, and we're so glad we did! Trà Vinh 'smells right', has a comprehensive menu, and friendly staff.... More

Have been here quite a few times. Our last visit they have renovated and got new chairs, tables, wallpaper etc. Looks bright and very clean. It's a place where the service is fast. We always do a walk in, as I don't think they take bookings. Definitely not a place for romantic dinners. The food is great, can't complain. Our... More

A group of us called in for a quick meal after going to a Fringe World show. The servhuice was prompt and the meals were fine. We mostly had soups and I would be keen to try a broader range of dishes in the future.

The food was good, served really quickly, but I'm not sure I would go back in a hurry. Excellent for the price and good for a quick, tasty and substantially sized meal.

The 'Pho Dac Biet' and the 'Tra Vinh Special Noodles' were great. The cashier had a cute face as well :)
