Decided to organise a lunch for 8 ladies and thought would go back to Matilda Bay, well I am so pleased I did. All I can say is that the food, service and the ambiance was excellent. I have visited many restaurants in the past few months as you can probably see on my reviews and I really have to... More

I shouted 7 friends here in April for dinner and have to say this was the toughest meanest steak I have ever ( half ) eaten in my life.It was called a wagyu Rump.Food has to be pretty poor quality before I wont eat it and this steak was inedible. The waitress didnt say a word when she took it away.The... My wife and I booked here this week to celebrate our first anniversary in Australia. We were seated by the windows overlooking the river and watched dolphins frolicking by. We settled on the set menu at $85 a head. It was worth every penny. The service was first class and the food stunning. Easily the best meal out since we... More

I had my wedding booked here for the 29th of September this year and was told that the restaurant had cancelled my booking six weeks away from my wedding day! And by email as they no longer wanted to open on the Queens birthday public holiday Monday. No phone call, an email. I had sent invitations out weeks prior and... More

A quiet dinner after the theatre and I am so glad we chose this place. Brilliant view of the river. Service was excellent. Whole fish done Thai style was soft and so tasty. The taste lasted all the way home. Ambience was great. Well worth the drive from the north to eat there.

Wagyu sirloin was fantastic. Chargrilled outside and tender rare inside. 240gm and $52. The crab linguini we had as an entree. Crunchy topping. The roast rump was juicy with Bernaise $72 for two to share. The duck was juicy with a bed of shiitake mushrooms & onions. Salty brown sauce for $42. Good service and friendly staff. Great views of... More

We dined on a monday lunchtime for a family birthday. The food was wonderful, there was a good selection from the 2 course set menu. The menu was reasonably priced at $48 per adult and $25 for children. It was well over the top that we were charged $5 per head for tap water, there were 7 of us dining... More

The food here was delightful, everyone loved their meals, no faults at all. We had windows seats and thoroughly enjoyed the view of dusk on the water, having a wonderful time. Great cocktails, one of my fav things is trying new cocktails, and the one here was brilliant. The only let down was when my husband spilled his glass of... More

We went there on a Monday so the restaurant wasn't too busy. The service was very good and the food superb. There were 4 adults and 3 children so I did think as we had spent so much the tap water would be free. Sadly it was a stormy day so we could not take advantage of the lovely views.
