Overlooking the Indian Ocean, sitting on the balcony at North Cottesloe Beach is a hard to beat location. Early morning coffee with blueberry muffin, freshly baked. Friendly meet & greet from Morning host Maree. Dinner whilst watching the sunset over the ocean. Fully licensed or BYO. Seafood, steaks, well presented or tasting platters to share over a casual chat &... More

We went to the duck for something different and we got a mix of opinions the pasta was great but the pork was very average, the fish was pleasant, overall it wasn't a bad meal but I would not rush back.

The Blue Duck has always been one of my "it's good to be back in WA" places. Usually for brekky or brunch. Last weekend we tried dinner. Never again. The service was good (particularly for Perth) but the beer battered fish was like rubber. Almost inedible. They did give us a complimentary desert, but since we didn't really want desert,... More

I have been coming to this cafe since it opened many years ago when I lived nearby in Cottesloe. Even after moving interstate I had always made a point of visiting there each time back in Perth. Alas this time will be the last... So disappointing for me and my family who went there for lunch. The menu was very... More

Wow! A bit of something for everyone. Great coffee, nice atmosphere, if the weather is good try sitting outside, it's worth the gorgeous views and fresh air. Service was very good. If you are lucky, you can see the North Cott surf club fellas!

Showed up on a Sunday morning without a booking and they did their best accommodate us. Gave us a limited time frame but the service was exceptional and they got our meals out promptly given our limited time frame. The big breakfast was fantastic. I make a point of visiting the Blue Duck for breakfast every time I am in... More

Went to The Blue Duck for brunch today with 20 people in our group. Wait staff were the perfect mix of understanding and attentive for such a big group. The full breakfast was good, but nothing super special - just what you'd want from a standard big breakfast. Coffees were good. Best bit - obviously the view on a gloriously... More

I went to the Blue Duck on a recommendation from my brother in law. The menu is adequate, but quite limited too. There is not a great choice. However, I ordered a starter and a main and a glass of wine/bottle of water. However, they did not understand the difference between a starter and a main course and brought the... More

We booked a table for Sunday lunch as my visiting relatives wanted to take us out for lunch. We have eaten here about a year ago and wasn't too impressed, however I'm pleased to say it was so much better this time! We had starters of fish cakes, oysters and gnocchi which all were delicious. My gnocchi with pumpkin purée,... More

Last minute decision to lunch today before flying back East. This place is a gem! Our waitress who may have been a manager was very knowledgable on both the menu and wine list. We settled for oysters to start and then at her recomendation shared the slow roast lamb shoulder. This is as good as the shoulder we had at... More
