Description: SELENE, the luminous Greek Goddess of the moon, inspires this delicious dining experience. It begins with a memorable signature menu, designed by multi-award winning chef Greg Malouf of MoMo to suit the Broome Climate and the fresh produce of the region. The menu delights the senses with the exotic flavours of the Middle East and Easter Mediterranean, while our signature dish at pearl harvest time – spiced sautéed pearl meat – pays homage to Broome’s rich pearling heritage.

It was the first night this restaurant moved from streetside to poolside and It seemed to work; ambience was ok & quite busy. My scallop entree was good; Slipper lobster tail (Morton Bay Bug) gnocchi excellent & poached pear dessert top class. Service slipped into 'Broome Time' occasionally but that was ok. Waitress Jean from Taiwan added a delightful jest

As the restaurant was empty we decided to have a cocktail which was not the best we have had and the went to eat... More

An unexpected visit no problems getting a table. Not too busy. We all enjoyed our meals and the good service given especially from Beaky he is a winner. A good laugh and very competent waiter. We did not have dessert on this occasion but the choice looks fab, I'm coming in before we leave Broome!

Enjoyed the tasting plates. All in all a good restaurant, a little lacking in any ambience though. Was there on a Friday night and place seemed dull. There were only 3 tables occupied inside.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Selene at the beautiful Pinctada Resort . Living in town you often forget the quality venues in resorts aren’t just for guests. In fact, you can’t help but feel a little like you’re on holiday yourself going to Pinctada to dine at Selene, well at least our group did on our recent... More

I am not a great fan of mediterranean food but Selene was more than a pleasant surprise. We started with the shared Mezze plate (brilliant) followed by Pork fillet (wife) and Threadfin Salmon (me) mains. All were delicious and brilliantly balanced. The pear desert was absolutely delicious and a wonderful finisher to a wonderful dinner in enjoyable surroundings. Highly recommended.... More

We booked thinking this would be a real treat according to reviews. The restaurant was only about a third full, and not much atmosphere. Service was basic - staff were pleasant enough but we didn't see them much and it took an hour to get our entrees and a further half hour to get mains. My partner's pork dish was... More
