Very nice lunches with good variety. Nice staff, little on the expensive side, but so is most of Broome

I went to the Kool Spot for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh salad, nice and light and just what I needed as a pick me up on an ever so hot day. The inside is airconditioned so was a way to beat the heat.

I have been here for lunch and morning tea and the service has been great both times. The food is fabulous and one of the few places in Broome to advertise gluten free options. I don't drink coffee but was assured by my partner that the coffee was very good. Its nice and cool inside and there is cold water... More

For a Cafe that has been going for several years now, I personally take comfort in frequenting an establishment that maintains an excellent level of consistency in delicious food together with both caring and attentive staff. Today's lunchtime meal experience was an fantastic example. The African spiced chicken resting on a bed of ancient tabouleh was to die for and... More

When I feel like tearing my hair out after eating at other establishments in Broome and when I'm just about to give up I know I can drop into The Kool Spot for fresh fabulous food and service that cannot be faulted. This was the case on the weekend, and I wasn't disappointed. The coffee as always was fabulous and... More

Went there for lunch on a Friday because the two other places I wanted to go to were closed and we were hungry. The place looked all right from the inside. Ordered a salad and a lamb burger, the salad basically had nothing but sweet potatoes, and the lamb burger was so tall that made it really difficult to eat.... More

It's a pity they aren't able to operate 7 days - and for dinners as well as the superb "Brunches" served all day - but the small staff and intimate atmosphere would probably not be the same with 3 shifts a day. We discovered the Kool Spot on our 3rd day in Broome - hot and sticky and needing coffee... More

The homemade cakes were fantastically delicious served with a generous helping of clotted cream and fresh strawberries. I couldn't go past an iced Chai to cool me down from the heat outside, the large glass was filled to the brim with sweet Chai and ice cream. The service was friendly and the tourist advise was free.

Cool and relaxing spot to escape the heat outside. Interesting menu items. In Chinatown near the Sun Picture theatre. Give it a try for sure.
