Poor service, terrible coffee, bull dust bill Shock. Once a favourite of mine. Gone off completely. No sign of competent management or commitment to half decent produce. Our worst Broome experience. Never again.

Walked here from our accommodation 20 minutes away so we were rather hungry. They took our order but it wasn't passed on and we were forgotten. Once we got it the food was OK

I have been coming to Broome for some years and always found The Zoo Cafe to be inconsistent - could be good but could be horrible. However, based on reviews from this month, I thought it might be going through one of its better patches. I don't doubt that people who reviewed the place positively over the past couple of... More

I had lunch here and enjoyed barramundi. The margarita salt melted because it was so hot. But a wonderful time.

Food was delicious and service was outstanding. We went for dinner and across the road after about 6:30pm had the privilege of watching the graceful camel trains make their way home for the evening.

Used to be my fave place to eat in Broome. Wouldn't go back again now. Waitresses were disinterested and appeared rude. I ordered the fruit salad which was not fresh at all. :(

The atmosphere is good and the open area could be very busy at weekends. The food is not exciting but not bad by any means, and the price reflects the quality. We found the drinks (beer/wine) are a bit pricey but overall lunch and dining experience is above average for Broome restaurants.

Dinner last night in the old zoo restaurant an ok experience. The ham hock and chicken terrine for entree was really lovely and a pleasant way to start our meal. It was enough to share as a starter. Main course I had the pork belly, which was a little overdone and hence the meat tasted rather stewed. My husband had... More
