Very pretty comfortable rooftop bar and the perfect place for a Pimm's with the girls. The view is great - go on a sunny afternoon and sit back relax and forget that you're in the city. You could almost imagine you were on a rooftop in Paris!

I met my wife and daughter for a drink today. They had been to a Stage Show and we met afterwards. People should go there, have a drink and soak up the atmosphere. I had a glass of red which was very nice so I don't know what the cocktails are like but if they are half as good as... More

Wow. This place has it all, atmosphere, great staff, indoor or outdoor areas and cocktails to die for. The value is fantastic, you can get a jug for $55 which will give you about 8 glasses of cocktails per jug. Great value. Some wonderful light meals on the menu, but cocktails are their specialty. The music is appropriate for the... More

We saw the Qantas magazine review on Madam Brussels and so went for a look. It was a bit hard to find with the signage a little abstract but when we did we were pleased we ventured in. Relaxed atmosphere and quirky tennis outfitted bar staff meant the view from the roof top area was very interesting both looking inside... More

Love coming here on a sunny day to sit out on the balcony. The decor is cute (think Alice in Wonderland) and the friendly staff wear cute tennis whites. They do great mulled wine in teapots with tea cosys, served with teacups and saucers. A bit on the pricey side but nice to try out anyway. A little bit hard... More

This place has quirky in buckets, but it's brimming with charm and fun. It was cold out on the terrace when we visited, but our especially efficient and smiley waiter was quick to make sure we had heaters, blankets and mulled wine. It's my second visit and I'd go back again. It's kinda what Melbourne means to me: a fun... More

This place is a Melbourne gem our concierge told us. It was hidden on the third floor beside a multi-storey car park. The place was decked like an English tea party and the staff were dressed in tennis gear. Within minutes of finding the place we had hot pink faux fur blankets and a heater to fend off the cold... The venue has a colourful history , but now a days the house of ill-repute sells cocktails and cupcakes. Outdoor heaters are on or you can request a warm blankie. It is worth the journey just for the quaintness, but bring your wallet with you.

Madame Brussels is easy to miss. Up a few stairs and lift to the third floor and in the centre of Melbourne. Open from 12 noon till very late, I've enjoyed lunch a few times and afternoon teas and drinks. A friendly atmosphere with quirky garden furniture and padded seats. There's an indoor area with astro turf up the bar... More

You can easily miss the entrance to Madame Brussels, it is at the top end of Bourke St on the corner with Mcllwraith Pl, the one which leads to the car park. Named after the notorious Madame who ran most of the brothels in nearby Little Lon part of Melbourne back in the 1880's. Once you step out of the... More
