What else does a famished office worker do when travelling interstate for work but try the local Restaurant Scene. Melbourne is full of great eats and Nirankar continues the trend - infact they destroyed my craving for an indian treat!! As I am ridin solo, I decide to order take away - as im waiting there is a great ambience... More

Ive been to Melbourne many times and never had a good Indian meal. This restaurant has changed all that. The quality of the food was exceptional. The level of spice used in making the meals was enough to make it enjoyable without overpowering the palate. I had the mix kebab masala for a starter and was not disappointed with the... More

Definitely a favourite! We thought about holding our daughter's wedding here but it was not quite big enough - we are not Indian but it is her and our son-in-law's favourite cuisine. This is their favourite place and we can't argue too much. Lots of interesting choices and a larger menu than many Indian erstaurants.
