had dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it, service was great, we had a pizza but the other meals that were served looked really nice, if you stay at the Breakfree, on little bourke st and show your room key you also receive a free glass of wine. Right in the heart of Melbourne with a new H n M store... More

Was exploring and Stopped in for a drink with friends. Beautiful entrance with candles everywhere, the wine suggested was very nice and although we had already eaten else where the food that we seen looked great, the staff were really helpful and the friendly banter made the experience. Felt like you were in another country, brilliant!

I had a beautiful pasta dish here and they made it with gluten free pasta for me. My friend had some lovely food too. I liked the location down the side alley, it had a nice feel. I will come here again when I'm in Melbourne.

This is a great place for lunch in the centre of the CBD in the Bourke St Mall virtually in the laneway off what was the old GPO building and is now the GPO shopping centre. The menu is extensive and the food is always great my favourite is the Paella for two to share. Great place if your looking... More

We nearly walked away from this little gem it was almost european , a narrow laneway with tables almost too close together, somehow this added to the atmosphere and it started to feel comfortable as we sat and waited to have our order taken ,service was a bit slow but when it did come the waitress was very pleasant and mannerly... I have been to this establishment a couple of times, it's location is a tad unusual. It is situated between a large department store and a post office... so the tall buildings either side of the lane add a sultry, dark atmosphere to the location. It is amazing how you slip from the street into an almost thermogenic atmosphere created... More

I had minestrone followed by veal scaloppine and both were pretty awful – not at all like traditional Italian cooking. When I complained, I'm not sure who was more embarrassed – the waiter or me! Melbourne has a reputation for good food – this does not help maintain it.

Delicious food, attentive and friendly service, great atmosphere! Would really recommend a try. Came as solo on business trip and very relaxing after a big day!

I was suggested this restaurant by a local friend who showed me the location when we were wandering around the city. I liked the little lane and the atmosphere. The food was good, nice choice of dishes but the service…. Not a smile of any waiter, pretty abrupt manners and not very helpful at all. Please improve it….
