Came with 4 friends and went for the banquet. Menu was well balanced and food was amazing. The lamb, in particular, was the star of the meal. I do not think i have had lamb as good as this, and I have eaten a lot of lamb dishes.

Simple, sleek restaurant with great food and good service. Lots of vegetarian options. I can recommend the labneh, the cauliflower, the cheese filled cigars, the beans, … All really really good. The service was also very friendly. I can definitely recommend this lebanese restaurant. They also have an extensive choice of Australian and Lebanese wines.

Looking for authentic Persian food thousands of miles away from Iran? If you are in Melbourne, try Rumi and we got the recommendations from real Persian friends! Try the cold cucumber soup, on a hot summer evening it does the job of cooling you down. We ordered quail kebabs and lamb shanks for our mains and they were just delicious!... More

Simply put? A very very very delicious meal. I'm going to keep revisiting so I can explore all dishes as it was that much a flavorsome journey... The ribs, freekeh salad & chicken each made my eyes roll on first bite.

all our dishes (labneh, freekeh salad, fried cauliflower, grilled quail, lamb shoulder) were really fantastic - much more like authentic stuff rather than fusion food. The atmosphere is casual but smart so you can dress up or not care when you visit.

We were a group of six last Friday. Rumi had come highly recommended to us and we were keen to explore the food and the setting. Special thanks to Patience who assisted us with meal choices. She knew the menu inside out and could answer our many and varied questions. What an asset. We had the 5 course banquet and... More

Simply the best Middle Eastern meal I've had. Glorious scents and spices. Go with a group so you can share as many dishes as possible. Start with an arak if you have a taste for aniseed; like ouzo, only better.
