Spur of the moment visit, we decided to drop in for the Lunch time pizza special. The restaurant itself is quite appealing to the eye. We were greeted by what appeared to be the manager? He promptly sat us down and gave us the full listing of drinks and food. Ordered our drinks for our pizza while giving us a... More

The Groove Train (Queen St) is a really great place for dinner. The food was delicious and you had great portions. You do not need a starter (if you want one i advise sharing meals as they are huge!). The costs are what you would expect to pay for a meal in the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating.... The groove train has an extensive menu. So much to choose from and a mixed cuisine of food the taste buds can confuse and not ideal to share. I like to have a good theme when i done, but you can have pasta or pizza or an Asian platter or a Greek lamb. The options suit the basic tastebuds. Not... More

I visited the Groove Train in the last few days, we were attracted to it because of the happy hour on drinks. The restaurant was quiet there were only a couple of tables occupied which was strange for a Saturday evening. We were served by two different servers and both were rude, I waited over 15 minutes for drinks both... More

Came here with my husband and friend for lunch. My husband ordered the chicken parma which he really enjoyed. My friend ordered the carbonara pasta which was very good and I had the salmon sandwich which was incredible. The waitress was very nice and attentive. While eating my sandwich, I found a little piece of rope or something in it... More

Love the burgers at Groove Train, food is always good, prices are fair, service is good. If you are looking for a reasonable meal, and have the time to sit down and eat then this is the place.

It was the menu that attracted me to this particular restaurant. Pints of beer $5 - Cocktails $8. I was thirsty and the price was right, it was a win win. The wait staff are fantastic and after finishing the sauces from the wedges early they were plentifully replaced. The restaurant has pretty sweet outdoor seating and the inside is... More

We arrived here and were amazed at the amount of choices available on the menu. Each of us enjoyed a different dish each and were all generally pleased with our choices (however the pasta was a bit oily). The staff was helpful and our dishes arrived pretty quickly. Each of our servings were very big and of great value (~$20... More

Four us had lunch at Groove Train Epping when it first opened....all 4 of us had terrible meals and said we wouldn't go back. Today, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and give them another try....big mistake. The service was okay but the food shouldn't be served and customers expected to pay for it. My sister... More

The food and service were great but we received our entrees last out of a group of 4 tables then got our mains before we finished our entrees. The table who got their entrees first waited nearly an hour to get their mains. Still had a great time.
