We came here in a busy Saturday morning but were offered coffees whilst we waited for a table. Great breakfast menu!! I had eggs with truffle hollandaise - so good!! Took a little too long for the food to arrive, but the meal was lovely and the coffee was exactly what was needed.

Got here for brunch. Nice little place, right next to Middle Park tram station. Cosy within, with patio heaters on their covered terrace. Food was good, with a little variation to your brunch basics. I had poached eggs (excellent) on toast with a side of chipolata sausage and "meat" beans (beans with ham hock mixed in). Others had salmon and... More

I love the location of this cafe. It's such a quaint little place right beside the trains. Sitting in there and looking over the fields and just enjoying breakfast with good coffee. Will definitely be back if I'm back in Melbourne!

I first visit Mart a few years ago and it left a lasting impression, so much so that I decided to go back this week and it was so much better than I remembered! It is positioned in a great tram stop shop. When we arrived all the tables were full, but the staff were so kind and entertained us... More

The food is great except that my poached eggs were slightly overcooked. Just love the ambience of this cafe. For more reviews, check out: http://tableforting.com/2014/04/17/mart130/

Food was very nice when it finally arrived. Staff on the day seemed very inexperienced. Disappointed with this first visit - not sure I would try again.

Mart is the best breakfast in Melbourne hands down. Hidden inside an old tram stop #130 (Tram backwards = Mart!), you're going to find the best little cafe in Melbourne. The fritters are extremely popular, but for me, the Bircher Muesli is second to none. The granola on top of poached fruit, is just perfect. Richard the owner is always... More

Enormous portions of good breakfast foods served in an old train station / tram stop. Lovely ambience but Terribly noisey. I could barely hear the person opposite me, and the pace was half full.

If you are travelling on tram 96, you can break your journey and have a coffee or a meal at this quaint tram stop before catching the next tram to your destination. A popular venue with the locals, we usually stop by after a vigorous walk around Albert Park. They take cash only.

Went for lunch with a vision impaired friend. The first waitress had difficulties to understand ' Coke Zero'and then thought that 'Lemon Lime and Bitters'is an alcoholic drink ('We don't serve alcohol.') Well, employing backpackers has its ups and downs... My friend had the open steak sandwich, looked and tasted great! I had the Japanese Beef Salad - with amazing... More
