This is by far one of the best breakfasts I've had in the 1 month I spent in Melbourne. Definitely ranks up there in my top 3. The eggs forestier is simply amazing to the very last bite. I repeat. Every bite to the very last bite. The coffee is well made and definitely doesn't disappoint. I'm not even going... More

Popular brunch place with limited seating availability (due to busy-ness, not physical seats). The freshly orange juice was refreshing, and the eggs benedict were fantastic. My husband had their coffee and loved it so much that he bought a bag of beans.

I was staying up at Crone Plaza and walked down to find breakfast in South Melbourne area. Stumbled on this place and had a delicious breakfast. I then had to return the next day for more deliciousness, and the lady who served me the day before remembered me!

The location is great, just down the street from south Melbourne market and Clarendon street shops. The cafe was not busy and although the coffee came quickly it was the last insane of the waiter. There was no water offered or he didn't return to see if I wanted something to eat.

Stopped by here for a Saturday morning breakfast when in South Melbourne after reading some good reviews. The café was busy and noisy and when we walked in were shown to a table. However the service then stopped completely as if we didn't exist. It was until about 15 minutes later (after trying to attract the waiters attention to no... More

Menu spoils you for breakfast choices. I had the Eggs Benedict with the addition of a hash brown. In the grand scheme of eggs Benedicts it was nothing to rave about and the hash brown was one of those round, thick ones which are never crunchy enough & are invariably just mushy & flavourless in the centre. Service can't be... More

We have been visiting at Cafe Sweethearts for brunch on and off for the last 20 years, and have found the meals consistently good throughout this period. My wife's favourite is a simple pancake stack whilst I prefer the Lumberman's pancake. The menu is varied and the prices are reasonable. On the last visit the palce was packed and as... More

we ate here a lot for breakfast, brunch & lunch & it was consistently good. Food freshly prepared. Service always good. Not perfect though; I found it very noisy, from the coffee machine to other diners. It's the acoustics I think that magnify the noise. You can sit outside but the tables are very uneven

Together with my wife and two old friends we once again visited for "Breakfast at Sweethearts". Sweethearts must remain one of our favourite breakfast places in Melbourne. Comfortable, really good service, and excellent food. Each of us enjoyed our eggs which were cooked to perfection in various forms. Nine were poached with hollandaise sauce (beautifully creamy and luscious) which perfectly... More

Since then i have returned with a different friend each time, hoping to prove to them that i am not lying when i talk this place up! My favourite meal is the poached eggs (alwas-ys perfect and...
