Not bad..

The spicy panner starter was the star of the show for me at Niranker.. It was tasty. I followed that up with a standard chicken madras curry dish which was good. All washed down with cool refreshing kingfisher.. It never blew me away, but there was nothing really wrong with what I was served. My... read more

My friend and I were visiting Melbourne as backpackers early February 2015 and visited this restaurant one evening as we had a notion for Indian cuisine. The venue is large and spacious with wonderful decor and good ambience. It wasn't very busy on this occasion so we got plenty of attention from the staff who were very friendly. We ordered... More

did a group lunch .. They seemed very busy due to a kids birthday party which meant digesting an overdose of loud music. Food was decent enough and nothing particularly fantastic. sans the loud volume , I believe we'd enjoyed the meal better. The wait staff did best possible to cope.

Had been with group for both lunch and dinner. Though food was tasty they found it difficult to manage the group. Overall was a nice experience though not over the top but definitely something good at cbd for lunch.

Dropped in for lunch. Did banquet A, which was $32 each. Food was nice, but lacked those fresh Indian spices and I thought the butter chicken was very bland.

Went to this restaurant after purchasing a Groupon voucher for All You Can Eat for four people at a bargain price (less than $50 total for all for people for three-course meals plus drinks). The meals were delightful; the curries were very flavoursome and cooked to perfection. The service was speedy and the restaurant overall had a very welcoming atmosphere.

Went her recently with family and weren't disappointed , fantastic curries, probably the best in melbourne . We ordered to much which is what we always do when we eat curry but it was good to try different things. We all shared a butter chicken, lamb korma, goat curry and there special fish curry, none of them disappointed us. The... More

We had a great meal at this restaurant. We had a set meal for 2 and this provided a varied and tasty combination of courses. The serving staff were helpful and attentive. Good sized dining room and they were quite busy with a family party during our visit. The atmosphere was good. Having enjoyed our time there we were really... More
