When a girlfriend asked to stop in at Koko Black while we were shopping at Highpoint for a takeaway chili hot chocolate, I was more than a little interested to taste test. From then, I was hooked. I now go to Highpoint just to have one of these delicious concoctions, to while away a half hour of sensory bliss. Velvety... More

We went up stairs in the arcade to find this beautiful yummy choc. cafe. The staff where happy and understand choc. lovers. They almost carried the over indulgence smile..... The crumpets are just to die for along with the choc. poured over them and they where warm too. The icecreme was perfect for the finishing touch

The coffee temperature was just perfect. My partner claims the chilly hot chocolate was to die for. Will have to try it next visit.

I always enjoy their Belgian dark chocolate cold drink! It is really really nice. The staff are friendly and I'm sure you will enjoy the great ambience of the restaurant.

Lots of chocolate things on the menu. Hard to choose. But we managed! Only thing strange is they have no toilets!

After visiting Koko Black in Lygon Street yesterday I was sure that I would be able to get a good coffee again. Wrong! Even after asking for a flat white "not too hot" mainly for the fact that I was hanging for a decent coffee and wanted to drink it straight away but also because all I heard was milk... More

The best Chocolate Cafe in Melbourne. Their Mocha with Belgium Chocolate is very recommended. Chocogatto was amazing too. We tried some of the pralines and they all very recommended.

Where to begin with how much I love this place.. Koko Black is like my little home away from home and is like a little retreat for people. I visit Koko Black many times a week for both business and personal occasions and I throughly enjoy being there. Each store is different and I have visited most of them and... More

Number #36 of #4000 resturants in Melbourne? You have to be kidding. Been to this one and the one in Brisbane and are over priced chocolate boxes. Over staffed, long wait, bad coffee, ok chocolate. Would be worth paying for if the cocoa was imported from the depths of the Amazon or was Fair Trade/Organic. Skip it. Find another boutique... More

Koko Back is located at the top end of Collins Street and makes Swiss Chocolates look ordinary. They are an experience. Not cheap but worth every cent. Great for gift buying because the recipient will never be disappointed. Don't miss this shop when you are in Collins Street. If you are on a holiday here, buy some chocolates for the... More
