When in the CBD, I often make a trip to this place to obtain some special chocolate delights to bring home to make the other half happy! They have an amazing selection of high quality chocolates on offer, including some amazing combinations that have me coming back for more! Even though the chocolate is expensive, it is some of the... My husband and I like to visit this establishment when in the city as a bit of a treat. The soy hot chocolate, (I am lactose intolerant,) is delicious. Some reviewers complained the hot choc is too hot, but I am a big fan of that. That way you can wait for it to cool down to the desired temperature... More

A must to visit while in Melbourne. I had the Raspberry Chocolate Dome, absolutely outstanding presentation and it was delicious, Staff very helpful in regards to menu and great coffee. Koko Black has just opened in Queenstown (NZ) so will be visiting when we are there.

I had the hot chocolate with Chili. Right match of flavors but still tasted like I was drinking the richest piece of chocolate cake I ever had. Koko Black is now my new standard for the best hot chocolate anywhere - ever. I also had a piece each of Pistachio and raspberry chocolates, but the hot chocolate overwhelmed their flavors.... More

For a cold climate place there is certainly a lot of bad coffee served in Melbourne, this place was an exception, walked in here on a day when it was 16degrees and felt colder. Staff were polite and service was prompt coffee was tasty and perfectly served, when asked the barista Jacob explained that the grinding and other variables was... More

Well only if you go to Europe do you get such excellent chocolate selections. We ate here nearly every second day of our two week break, even if it was only for a hot chocolate. One day we had the chocolate degustation for two as our lunch and even though we are big eaters we struggled. We have converted several... More

We always visit Koko Black in the Royal Arcade when in Melbourne. Delicious chocolate creations and the superb Hot Chili Chocolate are always looked forward too. Can't wait to visit again on our next Melbourne visit.

For chocolate lovers this is the place to be. There is a wide variety of flavours to choose from. They make amazing drinks but I really like the affagato with the generous shaved chocolate on top. If you are into salted caramels then your MUST try the Liquid Salted Caramel. It is to die for. The staff a excellent -... More
