Great spot

Good value food, good wine selection and good service. What more do you want?! Nice alternative to other restaurants on offer in the area.

Beautiful food, friendly service. We had dinner there last night, and found ourselves drawn there again. Fresh fish and seafood, great range of sakes and other alcohol. Whether seated inside or out, love the communal seating. Having federation square right there with the football on the big screen and a laser show warming up, was great for a laugh. We... More

There is a stalwart place for Japanese inspired food located centrally in Federation Square. There is a wide variety of food which you can share or go solo. Long bench tables that you share with others. The service is friendly. Reasonable range of wines by the glass. I've been there a number of times over the years and its always... More

A last minute decision to grab a coffee before returning to our hotel room Wow exceptional service from the gorgeous Lucas and Michael. The deserts and baileys latte or orgasmic. Sitting outside under the heaters at 10 pm enjoying the atmosphere of Federation square. Will be back tomorrow night boys

Convenient to ACMI, NGV Ian Potter Gallery, Flinders Street Station and the Arts Centre, communal and casual Japanese cuisine venue Chocolate Buddha is great for reasonably-priced food and drink in an impressive location. Ki ora Sianpp from Central Auckland It's great to hear that as a Vegan you enjoyed our food. We don't have as many vegan options as we would like as we don't have many vegan guests. I can however recommend Supercharger at Emporium Melbourne. It's vegan at a whole new tasty amazing level! Once you have been to Supercharger, come... More

It has wonderful fresh Japanese food, with a huge range of interesting vegetarian dishes. My only reservation is the quality of the sparkling white by the glass. I love good Aussie bubbles.

Greetings Penelope It's a shame that neither of our bubbles were to your liking What's not a shame is the fact that you love our restaurant because guess what, we love it too!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to review your experience Regards Angela More

We have eaten here twice recently prior to the Comedy Festival events. Great as a sharing plate system, The sashimi is fresh and varied tuna , swordfish, salmon served with a misu. The dumplings and tempura soft shell crab and prawns light and perfectly prepared. We then had the pork and the stand out rare beef and Budha sauce. Convinced... More

Hello dawsonpd Thank-you for visiting us twice recently The comedy festival is a busy time for us and guests are often in a hurry seeing a show, movie & have limited time. This is not an easy feat as guests often arrive and depart more or less at the same time. I am proud to say that we mostly get... More

We ate here on a Friday night with our two crazy kids (5 & 3). We sat out side and had a great view of the big screen. The kids ran around and played in fed square prior to our meals arriving. The meals were great, the service was perfect. Great family night out

While I didn't eat or drink anything, I simply have to write this place up as a place to go if you want the wait staff to dote on you and make you feel special! My mum and a couple of girlfriends were wining here after seeing some comedy at the MICF last night and my dad and I went... More
