Besides the amazing position in the heart of Melbourne I was delighted by the service staff. Lucas I believe was his name. He was jovial and attentive , lifting our spirits and nourishing our bodies and mind. Do yourself a favor a try the tempura pumpkin rolls.

Went for lunch and the lunch trays ($20)- chicken or beef - were fabulous. The trays included some miso soup, salad bowl and a couple of extras that just top off a light but filling meal. A very healthy alternative to many carb heavy lunches. Great atmosphere with long benches and Japanese inspired modern decor. A great place for a... More

This is about my eighth time here, when in Melbourne for great food. To end a perfect dinner, we both tried the Green Tea Brulee. It was s o good and almost an outer body experience. Hi Indy C I think you are correct the spicy pork ramen is delicious and is one of our signature dishes Next time you join us for lunch you should try the green tea soba noodles from our lunch trays. It is served with tempura vegetables, rice, hosomaki and broccoli w sesame dressing. Yum! See you next time Thank-you Angela More

Stopped here for a quick meal with my vegan daughter. Food was good and we found ourselves chatting with other patrons too.

Hello Andrew H Thank-you for your patronage and it's good to hear that you enjoyed the communal dining element of Chocolate Buddha. We were one of the first Melbourne restaurants to be entirely communal dining and Melbourne embraced this togetherness and the not so traditional way of dining.... We love it! Regards Angela More

Tennis finals Sunday was blustery and cold this year - what to do? Promised ourselves sushi whilst in Melbourne - two birds killed with one delicious stone. Staff were attentive, helpful and funny - found us two great seats with a head-on view of the big screen and said we were more than welcome to stay however long the match... More

Hello Miss K Donkey How good is Fed Square during the Aussie Open? It's the next best thing too being at Rod Laver. Of course if you are at Chocolate Buddha you get to eat tasty food and drink Sapporo or Orion on tap whilst you sip your Sake and watch a great game of tennis! Glad you enjoyed yourself... More
