This began a new era for George Calombaris and cemented his place as a culinary star for his Modern Greek Cuisine - never seen before Melbourne; where modern twists to traditional Greek cuisine has put this restaurant on the global map and has diner’s wanting more.The Press Club seats 90 guests and also offers a large, completely private dining room for up to 30 guests. This space can be split into two smaller rooms for groups of up to 18 and 10 guests. The open kitchen brings an element of drama to the contemporary dining room, and professional service staff, complete the winning combination.

George has done it again.. the press club is even better than before.. each dish is a thoughtful consideration of the greek heritage and the relationship of each flavour. with precise and friendly (and expert) service alongside a fantastic wine match.. it was a fantastic experience. will be back!

One of the best degustation menus I have sampled in Melbourne. Only degustation, either 5 or 8 course is on offer. We had the 5 course and matched wines and it was magnificent. We had the 5 course degustation menu and it was amazing, both in terms of the quality / combination of the food and the mild sense of theatre that accompanies it. They do matching wines, but we selected our own. We adored the palate cleansers and were given an extra helping, but the whole experience memorable.
