Special....

The restaurant faces west and attempts to block the glare with seethru screens but it can't block the heat... It is very unpleasant til the sun has set. Recommend u go late evening or in cooler months. Dinner was a hestonesque feast of science and food. Entertaining and unusual but to my mind not... read more

Went there with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. We were extremely disappointed. The food was average and staff extremely pretentious. Overall an extremely poor dining experience which was not worth the money.

Again, " normally" do not rate a restaurant on one visit. Great location and I can totally understand why rated much higher for that special occasion. Service great and an " international " serving staff/ kitchen , which is good. Although must admit sometimes lost in translation. Good food and " left of field French take " which is good.... More

What an experience!! I organised this dinner as a surprise for my husband's 40th but we were both blown away. Not only was the food amazing but the staff from the Lui Bar to Vu De Mond were sensational and helped make our experience there a memorable one!

I had dinner with friends and was truly satisfied with the food of course, service, the wine selection and the knowledge of the staff in terms of recommendations and wines. The place is cozy, ( tables a bit too close to each other, which is not pleasant) , and lively. The pork dish I had was excelent but the Tarte... More

We were blown away with the incredible view, chatted in the bar. When we were seated, we were treated to snacks. There is no comparison to this degustation experience. The bonus at the end is sweet.

After being whisked to one of the highest towers in the CBD, the view opens up to show a wonderful panorama of Melbourne. Tasteful decor, and a bustling open kitchen all add to the eating experience which is quite simply a journey of tastes and textures. The flavours are very rich, and the way meals are brought to the table... More

We visited for my mums 50th, a special dinner for her, an intimate table of 4. We decided to pop to the Lui Bar for a pre dinner drink, impeccable service as multiple waiters knew our name and reservation on arrival. A waiter prompted us to bring our cocktails through to the restaurant right on time as we were quite... More

Very inflated attitude of staff and very poor service to follow it up! Food was poorly conceived, poorly presented and akin to something you would find on a cheap airline. As it was a Mother's Day Lunch billed as something very "special" that the whole family could enjoy! So it was a surprise to us that we arrived and were... More

First, the staff are wonderful and they are a true credit to the restaurant. Second, the 8 or so courses we had were exceptional quality. The wagyu beef was amazing and the desserts were stunningly beautiful. Truly a beautiful experience, enjoyed every minute of it!
