Good food and attentive staff

We were a group of 4 at lunch and all enjoyed our meals. A mix of plates of various sizes to begin and a "main course" each - although the food is organised according to beer glass sizes, schooner, pint etc. Very good food - can recommend the cauliflower, smoked eel spring roll and tempura fish... read more

Food, service and craft brewed beer at the Lincoln made for an excellent dinner. The tempura fish and chips and sausages and mash were lovely, as were the unusual but delicious starters - the salt and pepper edamame and crab crackers. Great pub dinner with terrific service!

Hunting for something that was open in the dreaded first couple of weeks of the year, and on a Sunday, this hotel was recommended to us. It's a great find! Casual atmosphere, excellent food, good wait staff. The menu is divided into sections according to portion size. The selection was interesting, with a few twists on standard fare. The prices... Came here for lunch last week as live a few doors down, awesome food, the muscles and sausages were awesome, and then we discovered the 2 for 15 watermelon Collins which made the day! Served by sally who we chatted to for a bit, have to say all the time we've lived in Melbourne she gave the best customer service... More

This is a local favourite and I can see why. It's situated on a corner, and has a classic Art Deco exterior. It's like stepping back in time (one wall is a very large historical photo of The Lincoln, when transportation was by horse and cart). The furniture is old wooden tables and chairs, and there is a long polished... More

Booked this on the spur of the moment and we were not disappointed. The menu was filled with variety with a good selection of wines and beers. We chose the half Lincoln and were bought 5 dishes selected by the chef and they were all well presented with excellent textures and taste. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The... More

Havent dined here for 2 years and I am so glad I did today. Great size servings, all thoroughly explained by a well trained waitress. Beautiful flavours......loved the croquettes and the superbly chilled glass of bubbles. Thank you!

If you want a different good quality tap beer, this is for you. For the wine lovers there is a very good quality wine list too, better than the average. Food is more the tapas variety, with some choices of main courses. Simple, well presented and delicious. We shared a "to die for" sweet, beetroot chocolate pudding with yummy crunchy... More

Great place. Great food menu, lovely staff and a terrific tap list. Popped in for a quick bite, stayed for longer. Had a pulled pork roll. Turned out to be a really cool interpretation of a Banh Mi. loved the extra hot Lingham sauce on the side. So old school. Beautiful bar and staff were just awesome. Will be back.

We have been there several times now, sometimes by ourselves and once with a group, all times have been enjoyable. The food was presented and cooked beautifully. The farro and beetroot salad pleasantly surprised.
