I did not get around to eating in the Lincoln but the menu certainly seemed attractive enough. Therefore I am reviewing as a pub/bar and I can truly say I am very glad I found it.They have a wide range of beers and wines and I was quite taken aback at the lengths staff would go to match the inquisitive drinker... I wrote a review of this place a while back which was less than flattering. However! A change of owners has seen The Lincoln blossom into the perfect neighbourhood bar. The food menu is small but well thought out and each dish of the highest quality. They have combined the atmosphere of a friendly local with top notch food. Staff... More

The concept is a little strange. On one hand there is the food. Much of it is served in quite small tapas-like servings. The ingredients are of good quality, the compositions are not just standard and it tastes quite good. In the other hand the setting is a normal pub. The whole thing is quite loud, music is playing and... More

Followed a recommendation to "give the Lincoln a try". Pleased we did... Not your average pub and better than most "Gastro-pubs". Excellent range of small, medium and larger plates to share and we found the choice difficult and what we chose was delicious. From the tiny, exquisite crab on corn cracker through to the pork belly and triple cooked chips.... More

Went for a few drinks with friends, ended up staying the entire night. The food is excellent. The croquettes are an absolute must. There was an excellent drinks list with quite a few great craft beers, and some lovely wines.

This is a pleasant place to meet for drinks in the bar area. When you move through to the dining area you enter a nice relaxed zone where conversation can be heard and enjoyed with your table mates. Although the menu choice is limited, what ever you order will be enjoyed. I had the pork and apple sausage served on... More

Found this place while looking for a bottle o, a really great find. Bit of a time warp with craft beers on tap, friendly staff and good prices. Decided to stay for an ale and watch the cricket!

This pub maintains its original charm with terrazzo floors, the front bar & a sense of reasonably run down old pub. But don't be fooled - explore the dining room. Refurbed and with a good menu, with the current trend of shared platters, as well as the "stand alone" dishes. I was pleasantly surprised. A discerning colleague who works nearby,... More

I have been to this pub for a number of years. At least 3 different owners. I could not get served for the life of me. The previous owners were great, knew my wines and glass never empty. It's pricey but in the past I would balance that with premium service. That's gone. Very annoying. Goodbye Lincoln
