I was staying down the street at the Vibe Savoy and just wandered in one night for dinner. I stood at the entry for a while waiting for someone to acknowledge me, however I soon worked out that you just walk in and plonk yourself down. The table service was swift and professional and although they were busy, my meal... More

Loads of character and nicely styled. The menu lacked variety but the servings were generous and tasty. The lighting was very dark which made reading the menu difficult. But nothing that couldn't be overcome. Pricing was average and the service good.

I really like this venue as a pub. Really great atmosphere, cosy and very pub-like! We had a drink downstairs and then headed upstairs for dinner. The starters we had were calamari and crispy pork belly. The calamari was good and even though the pork belly tasted good, it most definitely was not crispy. Disappointing! I ordered an eye fillet... Mid week lunch and the place is near deserted. That sends a message. Reasonable service but the food was just average. Too much sauce, undercooked chips. It's not rocket science! Priced average; altogether a bland meal out.

I've been to Saint and Rogue for dinner a few times and the food has always been very good, but tonight's experience was worth writing about. We had fabulous service from Mitch, who was efficient, friendly, but didn't hover! I had the steak and wine deal which was a beautiful meal, I even enjoyed the salad! Excellent value. I look... More

the steak was cooked to perfection, the wine was really nice and the amount of food was just right, a real bargain for just $22 for both!!

We eat and drank 3 times here. First night on our arrival it was just grazing plate, but great variety and tasty. Then we had steaks the next night, so good we went back again. My husband was happy with beer and they had a great chardonnay by the glass, my friend & I were happy!!

Enjoyed theTuesday Steakknife special, $22 with a beer or wine. Service was ordinary, steaks were quick and tasty , not a hugely approachable wine list, and wine by the glass was a bit exxy. Something away from the crowd, but I think they need to freshen up the service and the prices

Friends took me to dinner at this quirky pub well hidden away. After a few bevies downstairs we headed up to the restaurant and found the menu to have a varied selection of pub meals with a modern twist. The grazing plate and squid were excellent sharing entrees and very well priced. The duck salad was tasty and my friends... More

I never knew about this place. Chose it simply because I had an evening dinner with a colleague and wanted to be near Southern Cross Station for the trip home. Liked the reviews and the website. Felt like a great find. Turned out to be exactly that. Good food and good beers on tap and wines. Great atmosphere to hang... More
