Great food, top service

This is my second time at this busy room. Atmospheric space that fills quickly. We sat at the bar as we couldn't score a table, but it was fine, with a view of the busy kitchen. I ordered three oysters, shucked to order; spectacular Syndeny rock oysters that were swimming in brine and juices. My... read more

Good feed. We stopped here for an early dinner on a night out without the kids. Remember to book in advance though as not easy to get a table as a walk in.

We have dined 3 times at Coda and each time we have enjoyed the whole experience. A great menu with lots of small dishes to start with - we loved the crispy fried prawn enclosed in a lightly battered betel leaf and the side salads were really refreshing. Service was great, suggesting how many serves might be right for us.... More

The restaurant really lived up to its name, food was fantastic, the waiters were so helpful... ambiance was lovely and cosy. I really couldn't fault it

Stopped by Coda for a late unplanned dinner after a show. The food was absolutely stunning and the service was incredible! Would definitely go again.

Dismissive and aggressive staff at Coda. When I pointed out my comments about their hopeless and dysfunctional booking were not being listened to, I was told they weren't McDonalds and I wasn't welcome at Coda. The success of any business is foreshadowed in how well they deal with customer issues. Coda is a big fail. Seems like they have lost... More

A must experience for every foody! We were a group of 8 and enjoyed a long boozy lunch and the banquet menu! The food was lovely and the majority was served as individual portions so everyone had enough food and a got to taste a great range of flavours. The wine and cocktails were amazing and the waiter was very... More

Visited coda after we went toa recommended restaurant only to find a massive line. We walked up they were able to seat us at the bar. The menu is a fusion mix of South East Asian with a touch of French influence, set up ideally to share . We sampled a number of dish . Each thing was excellently presented... More

This was a great place for lunch - we had tried to book for dinner but it was booked out days in advance and we only had a week in Melbourne. The menu is great with a big variety of small, and not so small dishes. We got to try a whole range of different tasting food and for next... More

This restaurant is in Flinders Lane but it's entrance is a little hidden in a smaller laneway of Flinders Lane but more than worth the effort to find it. We went there on a Wednesday night without a prior booking and had to take a spot at the bar as the tables were fully booked. Not to worry as it... More
