This restaurant had a somewhat gloomy and subterranean feel to it though to be fair it was a dull day weather wise. We chose the sharing dishes and the waiters were friendly and helpful. Service was prompt though not rushed and the food was very good. Attentive but un intrusive service.

What can I say, everything here is spectacular, from the wine to the food to the wait-staff. A must go when in Melbourne. The menu is carefully crafted and thought out; innovative chef.

The title says it all really. Tried a variety of dishes here whilst sitting at the bar and loved all of them. The bartender was friendly, without being annoying and knew his stuff. The food here really is a must try. Living in Melbourne we can be spoilt for choice, but this is one restaurant I would go back to.

Have been visiting Melbourne for the last 16 years at Aust Open Time. Coda was our choice this year. Great atmosphere, great menu, great wine list, great staff. We were a group of 7, and our waiter advised us of our choices. Could not fault the presentation, the taste in every dish was amazing. I was impressed with the attention... More

Arrived for lunch with a party of 4. Allowed the friendly waiter to order for us - brilliant food, great wine in a casual setting. Can't wait to return.

We are in Melbourne for just a week to attend a meeting, but having travelled all the way from the UK & France, we wanted to be able to see and experience as much of Melbourne as possible. Coda had been recommended to my colleague, so we dropped in on a Sunday evening, but couldn't get a table (there was... More

Ordered from the a la carte menu and all the food was great; exceptional desert of Toasted meringue, vanilla sponge, coconut, pineapple and yuzu. Staff were attentive and fine. The only thing I didn't like was that they take your bottles of water away, I understand that they like the tables clear and many restaurants do this, however I like... More

Can't really complain about anything. We loved it. Asian inspired tapas like menu. We couldn't choose so we left it all up to our waiter including wine and it was yumo! Must book!

Situated in Flinders Lane along with other very popular Melbourne restaurants. Coda is the older sibling of Tonka - also very good. We had the wine recommended, turned out to be the best wine I've tasted in a while, have since bought a case of the stuff! Very friendly relaxed energetic staff which is great, nothing worse then a cool... More

One of the best restaurants in melbourne, chilled great food with an asian tapas influence. Everyone is having a great time enjoying their food and the general ambience of the place :)
