Loved every minute of my experience here, the food is simply amazing, each dish just out did the next. Small dishes that packed an amazing flavour punch. The tempura bugs the beef larb and wok tossed morning glory were my 3 standouts. The service was fantastic, the sommelier really knew his stuff, his wine descriptions had me transported to the... Great atmosphere, excellent service and mouth watering food! Highly recommend prawns in betal leaves, duck curry and make sure you don't miss their dessert! We had chocolate soufflé and parfait they both were amazing! Bookings required to avoid disappointment

We really enjoyed our dinner with some great dishes - we left it to the waiter to decide - only weak spot was the scallop/cheese tapas! Really the wine list was extensive but with spiced food they should have a more extensive beer list and dispense with the delightful sommelier!

I much prefer its sister restaurant Tonka. This one was really noisy, wait staff were really stretched and we had to physically look for people to serve us and as you can imagine the wait for food and drinks was excessive. When you pay these prices you expect much more! The food was excellent when it finally arrived!

I had imagined that it was a big restaurant, from its reputation, but it was tiny - which is why its hard to get a reservation! We tried our luck one Sunday evening and just walked in at 6pm - and to our surprise, they had a table empty! (Maybe someone cancelled?) Anyway, the service and attention to us was... More

This place was recommended to us by a local. Its in a little lane way down a cobble street one street off Collins. As soon as youealk in, it has a nice vibe. We were excited to dine here and left hungry, disappointed and feeling ripped off. We ere told that the wait would be up to 1 hr. We... More

Read all the reviews and was very excited to go to Coda whilst on a girls weekend a couple of weeks ago. And boy they didn't disappoint! Our waitress was very knowledgeable and her recommendations were spot on. One of our party was running late from the airport and arrived with luggage in hand, the staff were amazing and had... More

On a Sunday night in central Melbourne, it can be tricky finding somewhere to eat - esp as it was after 9.30pm. Most places we passed were pretty empty or already closed and then we noticed a basement restaurant that was very busy ! On investigation it was CODA and yes they found a table for us. Due to the... Second sitting on a Monday night and Coda was full (and loud) which is an indication of how good this restaurant is. Menu is a contemporary Asian fusion style - we selected numerous small plates to share with one medium and a side salad, each dish fell between great to sublime (try the scallops). The wine list was interesting, some... More
