We ate at TT again last night. It's been at least a year since we visited. I didn't bother with the menu, as we had already had our favourite dishes from many previous visits. We were not disappointed! The service was quick and friendly. The upstairs is more modern and comfortable. Go early if you can like us. It's no... More

A group of friends and I go to this place over and over despite it being nowhere near any of our houses. It may not be Melbourne's best Thai but it's pretty damn good and would have to be close to its cheapest, especially when you consider it's BYO and the corkage fee is only $2 pp. The service is... My boyfriend and I went here on a Saturday night. It was super busy but we were lucky enough to get a table upstairs without waiting. It was busy. Like really busy. And noisy. The waitstaff are pretty short with you (which I attribute to how busy they were) and we were handed our plates/cutlery in a pile which was... More

This is by far the best Thai food I have had in Melbourne. While the restaurant is a little old-fashioned, don't let that put you off - the food is really good and reasonably priced. Serving sizes are huge so you'll end up with more food than you probably need! The staff are generally nice but a little disorganized. The... More

The night we visited was hot and so was the upstairs restaurant. Wish there was more than just a couple of fans and an undersize AC. I guess it must be a known place to eat by the locals as it was packed and hopeless to have a conversation due to the noise. Meals were tasty although the menu was... More

Never been here before but heard its really good. I placed a phone take away order for two meals this evening and they said it would be ready in 15 mins. I arrived 20 mins later just to be sure I wouldn't have to wait. Sure enough I've been here for over half an hour waiting for my food. It's... More

Saturday dinner, ordered six dishes to share between 8 people, we are well fed and very full. Menu has just the right balance of spelling errors to be authentic, but not enough to confuse. Staff are efficient and food is very good. Good level of spice and seasoning, make sure you book at peak times to ensure you get a... More

One of better options this end of lygon street. Portions large and they will pack it up to bring home if you order too much. Only 2 dollar corkage per person.

I have eaten here before and yes, it is quite good food at a very reasonable price but the organisation is a shambles. My friend ambitiously booked for a group of 30, when we arrived it took a while to locate the booking and none of the staff seeme toknow what was going on.We were forced to wait on the... More

We have returned here a few times even though it takes us about 25 mins to drive here. There are many Thai restaurants near us to eat at but we like Thaila Thai for what it is. This time just the two of us returned and shared two dishes, with steamed rice and jasmine tea. The total came to $30.00.... More
