Can we Order?

The location is very close to many theatres, entertainment venues and picture theatres, and as it had been recommended by others we gave it a go as we were attending an Eagles concert at the tennis centre. This is a large several-level restaurant near cinemas and theatres. It has old-fashioned brown decor and a conventional modified-Italian menu. It seems to be most liked by visitors to Melbourne and people who've come into the city from an outer suburb or regional centre to attend a concert or show. I guess they're not wanting anything risky, simply a predictable... More

I have been to the Spaghetti Tree many a time over my years living in Melbourne and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff are lovely, service is quick, the pasta is always tasty and the decor makes me I feel like I'm in old Italy. Great for celebrations, group bookings or a meal before going to a musical... We have been going here for the best part of 20 years but not again. I rang and made a booking only to find when we arrived that there wasn't a table available and then to be told if we would like to wait a while they would find us a table soon unfortunately we had a concert to go... More

This is our favourite restaurant in Melbourne, the food is AMAZING, don't be fooled by the dark dated fitout when you go in, this restaurant is a MUST visit spot, we have never had a bad bite here!!

Friends of ours took us to this restaurant on our recent trip to Melbourne. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. We loved every minute of it. The prices were very good and the meals were huge. Of course we saved some room for dessert and I had the best tiramisu of my life. I would definitely go... More

Met family for a post Christmas lunch. Staff we FANTASTIC especially where my mother in law was concerned as she is in a wheelchair. The offered for us to sit outside so she didn't have to walk up the steps but she insisted on going in. Very good selection from the menu and gluten free items. I had the Special... More

I'd been doing my research of food places in Melbourne, as I'm a vegetarian and wanted to sample a variety of what Melbourne has to offer. This is a wonderful Italian restaurant towards the extreme eastern end of Bourke Street (near the Parliament building). The wait staff were extremely friendly and accommodating for me as a solo diner, making recommendations... More

I had first eaten here about 5 years ago on a girl's weekend in Melbourne and had loved the food and cosy atmosphere then. This time in Melbourne I was here with my husband and two year old and wanted to see if the restaurant was as wonderful as I remembered. We hadn't made a reservation (next time we would)... More

Love this place. Decor is quirky and restaurant is huge. Food is always good quality and prices are very reasonable. Have never made a booking and never had trouble getting a table. Food is served very quickly and I can recommend the Veal Saltimbaco.
