The Shark Finn House and its sister restaurant the Shark Finn Inn are often a point of confusion where you end up booking one restaurant, and half your guests head to the wrong venue up the other end of the street, so be sure to clarify where you're all meeting. When we received Service it was terrible. Felt as if we were invisible. Food was ok after waiting for over an hour. I am sure other restaurants would appreciate your custom more than this over priced food outlet. Staff were not friendly. Will not be returning to this restaurant .

We were recommended to this place by work colleagues. Visited for dinner on a Sunday night over a long weekend. Place was quite busy, but we waited for over an hour for our meal. When we enquired how much longer we would need to wait, it seemed that we were suddenly invisible. When the meals arrived, one was cold. Complained... More

Inital Service was pretty poor - we were put on a too-large table halfway in a staff service area, half in the restaurant. We asked to be reseated but they refused. Entree waitress no improvement over the maitre'd- not knowing which of the four different san choi bao entrees were which ... prawn, chicken, abalone or squid ... When one... More

Had the burger with cheese and I must say, it was delicious. A friend ordered the double and although delicious, it would have been easier to have just ordered two separate burgers as it turned out to be a VERY tall burger. The Brioche buntop is what seems to differentiate the better burger places (eg. Huztaburger, Brother Burger etc).

The best find in Chinatown. The yum cha here was faultless. Great selection, prompt service and really tasty dishes. There is not a single element of this experience that wasn't fantastic. Extremely well priced as well.

I have been here a long time ago and was keen to see if it had changed, still the same really good variety and delicious yum cha-this is a must to enjoy, I was also impressed that the restaurant was quite full of guests on a monday lunch time.

We had been here before and the food was just as good and the service is excellent. It is a big restaurant in Chinatown and seems to be full all the time.

Some of the best yum cha I have eaten and the service was excellent and quick. Ideal for one of those occasions when you haven't got or don't want to spend a lot of time.
