Amazing beet & quinoa salad...delicious!

Have been a few times. Always great food. Meals come out fast & look & taste amazing. Service sometimes hit & miss (today felt like we were an inconvenience to our waiter which was bit disappointing). Great coffee, delicious cheese & the best Beetroot & quinoa salad ever!!

Outstanding in every way. Glorious food. Friendly, chatty and informative service. Charming. Cheeses are a standout. If you like cheese you cannot afford to miss this one.

The cafe is generally a very busy place. All day breakfast, lunch available. Lots of coffee lovers around. Take away caffeine addicts to boot. Had a great lunch here - lemon pepper squid salad was delicious. Not the cheapest place, but won't disappoint.

The food here is superb. It is a very popular spot for weekend brunch/lunch and they don't take reservations. Best idea is to drop in and put your name down, they'll give you an estimated wait time. You're then free to do a bit of shopping at the nearby clearance stores. The quality of the ingredients and the perfect preparation... More

Over priced and over rated. Staff seemed completely disinterested in ensuring we had a good experience - begrudingly taking orders, getting the bill etc. I asked for burger medium rare and was told the chef was fussy. Fussy about cooking it to cardboard dryness it seems. Also, meal took more than half an hour to come after we'd finished entree.... More

Crab benedict - what an inspired dish! It was delicious and perfectly balanced. Service was ok, but not great (it was a bit slow, considering they were almost empty when I visited). Coffee isn't great, but there are plenty of good places for coffee around there. Cheese room is also excellent.

Ok. I don't know about the food here. Apparently it's good. What I do know is that it has probably the best "fromagerie" in Australia. A climate controlled room where you can walk into and try cheeses that will blow your tastebuds! I believe it was originally set up by Will Studd (who knows a thing or to about cheese).... More

We wandered into this place without huge expectations - and we were very happy. Relaxed atmosphere, great coffee, staff were excellent and very attentive! I had smashed avo w feta and basil and chilli. My bf had the Baghdad eggs - was so good! Highly recommend.

On a Hot! Christmas Eve after a nice walk through lovey Fitzroy Park, we stopped here to have some cold fizzy water and a snack. We ordered a couple of glasses of chilled Sauvignon Blanc from NZ and a cheese platter with an English Shropshire blue and a Brie with Truffles. Delicious, and for once served with enough bread, apple... More
