Had dinner at this restaurant, lovely decor and staff looked lovely in their costumes. We ordered chicken, beef and pork dishes and they were well presented, colourful and delicious!

Pleasant neighbourhood restaurant, on busy St Georges road. Simply but comfortably decorated inside with exposed brick walls with what I took to be thai paintings and sculpture on the walls. The food is good quality, reasonably priced and the service friendly.

I’ve just returned to this venue after a while and it still nice, it’s one of those hidden gems in the middle of suburban Melbourne. It sits 30-40 at the most, but don’t let the size fool you. You have to know what you’re ordering, so to be safe stick to the grilled dishes & match it with prawn-based rice.... More

Arrived as part of a big group(20) on a Friday night, which they were able to handle with no problem. Several starters were ordered to share and these were very good. The Satay Chicken was munched down in seconds. The menu had a small selection of curries that can be ordered with the type of meat you wanted (Chicken, Pork,... More

We had takeaway from here on Saturday. The service & delivery was great as they were really busy, it was 6.45pm. Recommend Thai beef with basil & chicken pad Thai, Penang Red chicken & roti is a great hit. Great food & value

Nara Thai used to be a very good, inexpensive Thai food place. Over the last coupole of years the prices have nudged gently upwards to a higher plane, but, at the same time the portions have become larger, closer to Western notions of what a serve looks like, than the traditional Thai sharing of multiple flavours. I am not sure... More

We got up on a Friday morning with a desire to eat Thai that night ...... doesn't everyone do that at some stage! ;-) I called them at 10am and left a message as they didn't open until 5.30pm. At 5.30pm they called me back and confirmed the booking. A good start to showing some service. We got there at... More

Nice environment but food is kind of disappointing - too salty! Considering the price of their dish, the portion is bit small and the taste is not as good as they discribed unless you eat more than average salty. Most of their customers are local aussie. Probably the flavor doesn't fit asian taste.

Yummy! Nice atmosphere. I always have the basil chicken stir fry and Tom yum soup. Probably should be more adventurous...but when you're on a winner...

Peacfuly tucked in A strip of shops lies Narai Thai. I love Nara Thai. The atomosphere and value is great. It welcomes both couples and families. I go out for dinner every Friday with my family and always make the effort to go there regularly . My favorite dishes are the pad thai and the curry puffs. Both are must... More
