Busy tea rooms, you need to be there early but the queue does move quickly, but with excellent service and lovely scones, cream and jam!

If you are a fan of Agatha Christie, this is a must-go. There are Miss Marple pictures on the wall and the whole atmosphere is very cosy. The wait for a table could be VERY long, though. So, it's best to go early, or on a week day.

We called in here for afternoon tea on a Sunday after driving through the Dandenongs. Be prepared to wait as they are extremely busy and they will take your name and give you an estimated time to return. They do not take booking. There are some quaint little shops in Sassafass so we filled in time looking at them .... More

While you are not able to make a reservation, you are greeted with a rustic cottage and friendly staff. Some have said that they're quite rude but don't let it fool you as they are far from it. I think they're just run off their feet. Expect to wait but the wait is so worth the experience. Put your name... More

I and my family had a day out to Dangdenong Sky high. We stopped by Miss Maple for afternoon desert. We came at 3.30 pm, the staff wrote out name down paper and told us come back at 4.10pm. We came back on time even 10 minutes early. We still had to sit wait another 30 minutes. I came over... More

On entering this bustling tea room you are enveloped by the quaint Olde English chocolate box ambience of Agatha Christie, and the show stopping desserts being brought to the tables. The service is brusk and efficient if not friendly. The clientel, mostly overseas visitors. Unfortunately, those show stopping desserts are tastless. We had the pecan chocolate mud brownie, Belgian waffles,... More

We didn't even make it inside. I went in and put my name down for a reservation. Then when I went to call to say we wouldn't make it at the time allocated, the hostess was extremely rude, sarcastically saying 'well we knew that didn't we' and then hung up. Extremely poor customer service and they don't give the impression... More

I've been here a few times and this has been one of my favorite place for afternoon tea with my mates. It offers an excellent view of Mt Dandenong. Their scones are to die for and their tea are awesome too! Their services are a bit terrible but still tolerable.

We had enjoyed Miss Marple's atmosphere many times before and as we had a young friend visiting from Thailand we thought she may enjoy it too.We were lucky enough to be shown to a table straight away and the waitress informed us that we could share a meal when my husband mentioned that the servings were too much for us...
