We had enjoyed Miss Marple's atmosphere many times before and as we had a young friend visiting from Thailand we thought she may enjoy it too.We were lucky enough to be shown to a table straight away and the waitress informed us that we could share a meal when my husband mentioned that the servings were too much for us... My cousin and I visited the Miss Marple Tearooms today and thought it was absolutely lovely. We had 3 courses, each was really great. Dont believe others who say the food is awful, it was definitely terrific! The finger sandwitches we ordered were quite different to what we expected and we enjoyed them, the fish and chips with a generous... More

Loved the cottage and location. We always get good service and nice table either next to the window or near the fire place in winter. Devonshire tea and scones always my favourite. Sheppard pie is pretty average. Sundae and belgium waffle not to be missed if you can still stomach them after scones and tea. If we visit Mt Dandenong,... More

My husband and I have been visiting Miss Marple’s a few times a year for many years now. The service has always been excellent and we have always enjoyed our lunch. Generous serves and consistency are just two of the things that keep us returning. It is interesting to read the many reviews here re the scones. I discovered years... More

Was looking forward to lunch with my husband today and we've always fancied going to Miss Marples, but it's always too busy on the weekend. As today is Wednesday we thought we'd try again. We were met by a friendly member of staff who directed us to a table for two. We literally had to squeeze past the tables next to... More

This place is always packed and they do not take reservations. We arrived there half an hour before closing and we were the last to be given a seat. We were told to come back in half an hour and we still had to wait another ten minutes. The food and Tea/Coffee was great and the staff were very friendly... More

I've heard such raving reviews about Miss Marple's and it was on my #1 list when I visited The Dandenongs during my recent trip. When I entered the tearoom, I was very mesmerized by the English cottage ambience and every little knick knacks and quaint decor on the wall. The food was excellent too! We had fish & chips and... We had a nice drive up to where Sassafras was and stopped by Miss Marple's Tea Room. Fortunately, we needn't have to wait long for a table as this place was known to be crowded and brimming with visitors and guests. The menu had a lot of choices and the portion are large. Even our dessert is large portion too.... More

It's deep inside mt. Dandenong. On the way driving there, we enjoyed the view from the mountain. The tall trees are impressive. Their scones are beautiful. Serve with their home made jam and cream. U simply can stop until u a full. Will go and go again!!
