Lovely Food & Quirky Menu with a few unusual options

After a day of wandering around Melbourne and was stunned by everything around the Docklands being shut by 9pm! I stumbled upon Man Mo and, after a quick tripadvisor check, decided to pop in and see if they would do me a takeaway which they were happy to do. The restaurant interiors were lovely... read more

My family ended up at New Quay recently and had not realised that the once bustling happening place was now effectively a ghost town. Man Mo is one of the few eating establishments that is still open but it is surrounded by empty restaurants. We did not have a booking and although the restaurant was half empty we were made... Six of us visited the restaurant before going to the football at Etihad. What a great choice. The six of us had different main courses and all were considered to be terrific. I had the prawn and vegetable dish and I consider it as good if not better than any other that I have had. They have a very good... More

Been to Man Mo a couple of times, both times the food was great, Peking Duck and Crispy Calamari is the best!

Visited this restaurant prior to going to the football at Etihad, as a group of four. Had a variety of dishes including the Peking Duck, which was excellent. Also had the Whiting which was also excellent. Service was very good, all in all an excellent dining experience.

We were here again in March for dinner, and had dined here several months earlier. Last time we chose a banquet, however on this occasion we went with a la carte. Sesame prawns and Curry puffs for entrée, followed by Sambal Calamari and Beef with Black Bean sauce. The dishes were all nicely cooked and full of flavour. Service was... More

Three of us had dinner on a busy Saturday night. The first service was a bit slow, but after that it was efficient and friendly- one of the senior waiters almost anticipated your needs. We started with the Peking duck- a very generous serve of duck was brought to the table, and then taken away and folded into very tasty... More

I went to this restaurant when I was in melbourne recently for my sisters birthday. The food was excellent and the staff were fabulous. Definately a place I would go again for a meal whilst in melbourne again.

We visited without reservation whilst staying in cbd. It was a set menu at $55/ head for Valentines day and there were plenty of tables available. First impressions were that there was an abundance of staff for the number of patrons- perhaps they were expecting a crowd later as we were at an earlier sitting. The lettuce cup entree was... More

Valentines Day set menu. At best this was cafe style cooking ... were the chefs on leave for Chinese New Year ? It was not awful food, just simply uninspired and absolutely not indicative of other highly rated reviews. $55 four course set menu (x2) + drinks (2 wines, 1 beer) + deserts (2 x creme brûlée almost worthy of...
