The good reviews brought me here and I was not disappointed. We ordered the banquet #2 and there is sooooo much food and variety! We can eat and we couldn't finish it! Great wine on offer and the owner is a true gentleman and a great host. There are reasons restuarants stay around a long time. Great food great service... More

We were there pre-theatre and with no booking. There was no fuss, and we were quickly shown a seat and provided with a menu. The drinks came quickly, and were almost immediately followed by the dips we ordered (large plates of dip). YUM! Then came a plate of whitebait that was as good as I have ever had in either... More

Didn't book but arrived with 1.5hours before the theatre. Food was pretty good with ok value and generous serving sizes. Service was ok and while they managed to get us in and out before the theatre it took a couple of requests for our food and had to ask a couple of times for another drink. Didn't leave a tip.

I dined at Kri Kri with my partner using a online voucher for a 12-course dinner. I had previously been to Kri Kri several years ago and had been very impressed. The good is fresh and delicious. The service is wonderful. I called to let the restaurant know that I was running late for my booking due to having trouble... More

Food was excellent. Service excellent. Reasonably priced. Great find on a rainy night. Close to theater district. Only a short walk from The Crossley hotel. Definitely will be back and would recommend to our friends.

We had a 9 course lunch starting with dips and bread, followed by calamari, grilled cheese and sausage, then lamb, chicken and potatoes and finally a semolina cake. The dips and preserved capsicum were delicious, fried cheese intensely good and the chicken skewers incredibly tender and juicy. Service was fast, effective and unobtrusive. Would recommend. Had to go for a... More

We chose to eat at Kri Kri last week due to the proximity to our hotel on Little Bourke Street, and with children in the party it made sense to eat somewhere we could stumble back to our room. Having walked in earlier in the day to make a large table booking, the friendly server taking our booking already had... More

Kri Kri is a great restaurant at the upper end of Little Bourke Street. Food is very good, but quite expensive, as were the drinks...but this is Melbourne. Staff were very busy but attentive to their respective tables. Good atmosphere

Not knowing about the food, we chose the large banquet for two. Apart from the tzatziki dip and the bread I didn't really enjoy any of the food. The chicken skewers were over cooked but then maybe that's how Greeks like chicken. I found the rest was over oily.

This is possibly the best Greek dining outside of Greece itself. The Saganaki was great and of reasonable sized portion and the Loukanika perfectly grilled sausage with just the right level of spice and served on a bed of beautifully caramelized onions. Watch out for the Marithes though; the serving is massive. You need to really love Whitebait (as I... More
