Coffee was ordinary the waitress taking our order made my order so complicated...fried eggs and medium bacon on sour dough and my partner had the steak sandwich with fries!! She would do well working in an upmarket boutique and not in a cafe as her personality was very rude and arrogant. We parked in an hour spot and 40 min... More

We had coffee and bowl of chips in this cafe. We loved the coffee! Chips were served with homemade mayo of great flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and service was really friendly. Very good place. Will keep coming back!

Only a small place but great coffee and food (love their homemade soups and savoury muffins). Its in the middle of Chapel St so great place to stop for a break between shopping!

Had the best pole at chips I've ever eaten at this place. My friend has the steak and it looked amazing. Yum! And the waiter was hot... Bonus!

We visited in February 2012, for lunch, on a voucher. The fact that we had a voucher made absolutely no difference, in our opinion, as the service was prompt and courteous. We were definitely not neglected as you can be when using vouchers. You will not go hungry as the portions are very generous indeed. The food quality is very good... More

What a joke arrived at 7 and didn't get the mains. Asked about the wait and was told 5mins took another 25mins then we left. Don't waste your time. Bald man behind was very rude and found the whole thing amusing.

The mixed reviews on Trip Advisor made me think that I may not be in for the greatest of nights. I have never noticed Globe Cafe and I spend a lot of time across the road at all the vintage stalls. It was a Scoopon Deal so we were seated in a room past the kitchen at the back of... More

Have had lunch, breakfast couple of times at Globe. Calamari, Porridge, Eggs were not too bad, for a quick bite on a lunch break just OK. Interior is nice, but you sit very close to other guests and listen to their problems. If you sit at a table next to the people at the counter you have an unvoluntary view... More

Nice interior, some staff dressed in a sort of fancy dress pretending to be cool, not too sure they really are. Lunch was alright, coffee lukewarm, which is disappointing for Melbourne. So, nothing special.

Everything looked great on entry and the service was friendly. I chose something on the menu but quickly changed to the french toast when I saw it arrive on my neighbour's table. The coffee was awesome and my breakfast lived well and truly up to expectations. Service was great and the food made it well worth a visit.
