Enjoyed our dinner but not our lunch

We ate here for dinner first and enjoyed the meal and the service but then tried it again for lunch and found the yum cha very disappointing. At lunch the staff allowed people to push in ahead of those like us waiting in the line for a table and then the service was poor. One of our group does... read more

We went here for a birthday chosen by someone else.8 adults 3 teenagers and 1 tween. The restaurant itself is light well decorated clean. The choice was made to order from the buffet menu and it was decided on $54.50 (the most expensive) menu with a change from lemon chicken to honey chicken for the younger ones. We expected to... My husband and I went to this restaurant for breakfast on a Saturday morning. There's no menu, waitresses bring you bamboo steaming baskets with a wide variety of yum cha , and you just choose what you want from their tray. I am a vegetarian and there was lots of choice of different steamed dumplings or fried delights. It gets... More

Amazing yumcha!. So on a random arvo me and my husband decided to go yumcha and with none of our regular places open for it was too late for lunch time, we decided to just go dragon boat. The minute we got seated I checked urbanspoon and expected a disaster of a meal ahead, however it was totally the opposite.... More

Came here with a group for a meal and all I can say is how dissapointed we were. The service was extremely unfriendly, with waiters just pushing past to drop plates on the tables. We had the banquet for $42.50 a head and it was no where near enough food let alone anything amazing to rave about. Alcohol prices are... More

Wanted a quick dinner and given we were staying close to China Town, seemed that Chinese would be a great choice. Dragon Boat looks clean from the outside, you don't get hassled to go in and it was well patronised so decided to give the restaurant a go. For entree we had chicken San Choy Bau - absolutely delicious, succulent... More

The grand facade is what attracted us into this restaurant. The decor is very authentic, clean and pleasant. The chairs are comfortable. Tables are a bit on the smallish side. I liked the fact that you get a cloth napkin rather than paper. The service is quick and excellent. Good selection on the menu. Food is very good and the... More

This is a busy restaurant in the heart of Chinatown, so you may need to wait for a table, but not too long. Amazing menu - at reasonable prices. The portions are fairly large so be warned. The waitress even makes up your Peking duck rolls at the table - all done to your taste! Beverages are reasonably priced too.

It was an Easter Saturday, this year we went into the city to gasp the breath of city eateries. We love China Town and we seems to end up there to eat and enjoy exotic taste buds. We started out day touring around the city with free trains and buses and ended up in Dragon Boat Restaurant in Bourke St.... More
