Good beers and atmosphere, plenty of variety on the taps albeit not particularly focused on some of the smaller local breweries. Plus the bar is massive.

I used to frequent Cookie very regularly and with pride took all my interstate and international visitors there until one Friday night ended all of that. I had an interstate client in town and at about 9pm after dinner in Chinatown he asked to go to cookie as i had taken him there before. At the front door we were... More

Recently caught up with a girlfriend here for an early dinner. Food and service was great and not too pricey. Only downside was the drink menu- we only had the table for two hours and it was so big u needed two hours to read it. Sometimes the KISS principle is helpful.

Fabulous food and service at all times of the day. The best place for meeting friends for a meal in the heart of the city.

Our family of four recently had dinner at Cookie. A fun and funky place but most importantly fabulous food. The menu is extensive and the drinks list/books are amazing. Great service and the wait staff were prompt and attentive to our kids too. Yes it gets loud but a great atmosphere and for us it was all about the food.... More

Great Thai-fusion food. One of the best beer lists in Australia and if you're still not sure the bartenders know their stuff. The main drawback is you might scream yourself hoarse during the meal as it is very loud during peak times but you'll be so happy with the food and drink you won't care. The squid stuffed with minced... More

The lamb panang curry is a must. The Pad Thai is just okay. the atmosphere in the evening hums - fabulous energy.

We tried out Cookie in the middle of the Melbourne Comedy Festival. It was packed but we managed to squeeze onto some stools at the end of the bar. I was impressed by everything: the staff, the service and the food. The place was buzzing, but the staff gave every impression of enjoying what they were doing and being interested... More

Saturday evening is the peak time it gets really noisy and busy and the service gets really poor.. You need to hunt a servant to help you out and wait in a line to order the food in the bar. It took 45 minutes to get the food.. However the food was good, not the perfect thai taste but a... More

We grabbed a table out on the balcony nice and early for a snack before a Comedy Festival show over Easter. Nice glass of crisp, white wine in hand, we took our time checking out the menu and trying to decide what to order..... frankly we didn't move past the "Small dishes" as there were just too many that we...
