Dj spinning, wine menu to rival an encyclopaedia, and a food menu to rival no other thai in this environment! Kingfish sand w/mango and chilli a must , asis the mussels and the tofu/mushroom parcels. Do yourself a favour and check in for one cool meal. Bar service and order one side ( order at bar, they deliver to table)... More

We are visiting from Scotland, and met some friends who live here. One of them took us to this brilliant restaurant which was packed and buzzing. The food was superb, all the staff still had time to chat even though the place was rocking. Decor was cleverly done and featured racks and displays of children's books. This rates as an... More

I love the environment, it is funky and cute ambiance with the fairy tale's theme. You have to make reservation to get your dining table or you have to wait for it. The menu is simple with stated category of "Small / Medium / Large''. And their plates are so cute with the vintage rose pattern.I love their service especially... More

Cookie is a quirky restaurant and bar in an old but charming city building in the middle of Melbourne. An example of its quirkiness is that they bring you the bill in an old children's book. The wine list is pretty impressive and if you find the range to bewildering, ask the waiter for a suggestion. The Asian fusion dishes... More

The range of beers is completely overwhelming, so ask for advice from the bar staff! The Asian-fusion restaurant is well worth the cost - great food and service. Could be a little brighter where the tables are!

Went to a dinner hosted by an interstate supplier and have to say the experience was lacklustre. The restaurant was full for a Tuesday night even at 6pm. Ask the waitress what beers they have on tap and get an incredulous look and answer we have over 25! Not even the offer of a menu to choose a brew from.... More

I've been to Cookie many times and love the ambiance within the old building and the food is always fresh and perfect. The staff are a massive asset to this venue as they are friendly and very helpful with meal selections given the large menu options. When you first sit down, the eclectic retro interior makes you feel like you're... More

This bar has an awful lot of atmosphere and a good range of food on the menu to go with. The waiter was very keen to suggest some wines on the menu that matched the food we ordered. If you like a single malt to finish the night off like me you'll find a great selection of whiskies behind the... More

Cookie is no secret to the locals in Melbourne. In fact it's becoming more of an attraction that the locals almost steer away from becuase it's become just to busy. However it's busy for a reason, the selection of boutique and international beers is staggering. If you've tried it, they'll have it. Even some of the elusive smoked beers for... More

This place is truly an amazing experience for all foodies and hipsters alike. We ordered Prawn Firecracker, Cashew Salad, Pad Thai with chicken and orawn, Pork Belly, and rice. Plenty of food for 2. Some of the best Thai food we've eaten anywhere including Thailand. Prices are reasonable. Service is exemplary. There is a real buzz to this eating house... More
