Busy popular restaurant

Busy, noisy, almost chaotic... But it is all positive because it is awesome! Beer list is amazing, food is even better. Don't go there if you want a quiet and romantic dinner, but weather with your better half or a group of friends, you owe it to ourself to experience this many times 😄

This is the sort of reason why people move to Melbourne right? Fun, quirky, great food, spectacular wine list, groovy but friendly staff - did I mention quirky? And being hard to find is part of the fun really. This is the second time my Melbourne colleagues have brought me here. I may insist on coming here EVERY time!

Cookie seems to be an incredibly popular and well liked place by locals and tourists and I am sure the numbers can't be too wrong. I just didnt love it without being able to find a specific fault as such. The place was quite busy while we were there but the food came out quickly, the menu is pretty extensive... More

My husband and I popped into this restaurant after we saw a show and were glad we did. The food is so amazingly delicious. This is a loud, vibrant and fun restaurant, not a place you want to go for a quiet dinner. I can't rave about the food enough. I've never seen such an extensive beverage menu!

Up on the 2nd floor and away from obvious view is the hidden oasis that is Cookie. Equal parts groovy New York style bar and Thai-fusion restaurant. Lively without being loud and will appeal to a broad age range. Not so hipster that you feel out of place without a beard and a top knot. Service is swift and friendly.... More

Since when was this place all self serve... Take your own dodgy plastic crockery back to the table, pay for your meals before eat, get your own drinks and wait 15 mins for tap water. The menu is the same and prices are the same but it seems the beer hall is no service and full price - since when... More

There are so many hidden eating and drinking delights in Melbourne. This place has amazing food and catered for my wife's allergies without blinking. The meals were awesome, honestly the best I've had in a long time. Soooo many beers, the range is unbelievable.

I was there last week while in Melb for a short trip and first time tried Cookie. The food was really 'yum'! The place is quite big and they have quite a lot of menu choices. It's hard to find the place of you don't know where exactly is. We had a pad Thai (delicious), cabbage roll (delicious as well),... More

I enjoy the selection of beer here and the Thai dishes are really good. Some aren't quite as traditional as I'd like but the flavours are still great and I'm sure would please anyone that went here. Cool décor, great service and well priced. I recommend it to anyone going to Melbourne.
