Good place to go to meet up with friends and have a few nice cocktails, the booths are great for private parties too

We visited Cookie on a saturday night, the place was buzzing and very busy. You wouldn't trade the vibe for any speedier service. We booked about a week in advance for 4 of us from 7-9. Great selection of beers and helpful unpretentious bar staff, ordered the Weihenstephan Pilsner - a rare find in Australia, one of my favourites from... More

Four of us when for dinner as a last minute decision - no booking, usually recommended. Place was busy but no problem getting a table for 4 in the bar. There's a small area with seats behind the bar. Window view sucks - overlooks bins in an alley way - but it's secluded, quiet and you can hear your companions.... More

Early Saturday evening last we went up the stairs to have a cocktail. This place is great, and it was good to get there before it got busy. Cocktails were a bit on the "weak" side, but presentation was good. We stayed for a bite to eat and were not disappointed. Loved all the kids books featured on some of... More

Great rooftop bar. Excellent & extensive drinks menu ranging from tap beers to imported wines & great cocktails. Funky nick nacks surround the place & my favourite feature is the vinyl records that are played. Another fab Melbourne place.

We came to Cookie just purely for the rooftop bar as it was awesome! great views of Melbourne CBD and some yummy cocktails on the list for the usual price of about $15-$20. Would definately go back again if we were in Melbourne for longer.

A small but authentic restaurant with full of flavour and good service. Like the ambine and interior however the place is a bit noisy if going out for a quite dinner. Food is the best I every had. Definately recommend to famlily.

I went here one Monday night in July -- while the streets outside were deserted, Cookie was absolutely pumping! Now I know where Melburnites go at night. The table service was very efficient, and the food was brought out before we knew it. Highly recommend a visit, and book in advance (as even Monday nights are booked out).
