Great food

I can't say enough about the food here. It's absolutely delicious. I often go with a group of friends and we ordered a variety of different dishes to share. The stand out dish, to me, is the stir fried sweet potato and eggplant but all are good none the less. They also have a well stocked bar... read more

Cookie is always on the list of places to visit while in Melbourne. Funky interior, brilliant atmosphere and a great selection of tap and bottled beers which is constantly updated to satisfy any taste. Food is modern and fresh and always hits the spot. Staff are very good at the craft of pulling your favorite beer or recommending something new... More

Met an old friend and had a cute balcony table. Wait staff were really perfect for our night out and the food was great. Fun and quality not always a mix that you get in a city restaurant! Loved it & will definitely go back when in Melbourne next!

Great atmosphere, service and food. Lots of lovely dishes to share but because there were only two of us couldn't taste them all! This is a perfect place for a group of 6-8 people so that more dishes can be sampled. What we had was fresh and delicious. Will definitely visit again soon!

So it was a lazy Sunday afternoon, thinking where to go with a group of 8 for casual drinks that will not break the bank......DING = Cookie rooftop !! The sun was out, even a little warm.......so we found a table with ease, off to the bar, ciders & the $10 Margarita's will do & they did.....several drinks later &... More

Went there for dinner and drinks and enjoyed every minute of it. The food was Thai fusion and delicious. Definitely recommend the barramundi in red curry. Cocktails were delicious and if you are feeling brave try out the chocolate zombie so potent you are only allowed to order one drink for the night, though at $30.00 I think one is... More

Difficult to find on a second floor and well worth the effort. Staff are extraordinarily welcoming from the moment that I entered. When I needed some help; Patch was there; even with the crowd. Beautiful décor, with wood and marble. Lovely patio on the roof. Several rooms provide atmospheres that accommodate fine dining, group rowdies, and a large singles table.... More

Cookie rooftop bar has 360 deg views of Melbourne. Close to Melbourne central this is an ideal location to wine and dine and/or relax with friends for a few drinks on the rooftop. Love the food here, It's more like Vietnamese fusion with a modern take on it. Good value for $ not cheap but not uber expensive.

This was a surprise. We were expecting cheap and cheerful Thai food - second floor in an older building. Turns out it was a huge room just crammed with 30 something hipsters, all talking (shouting) at the top of their lungs. We found a tiny table in the bar - got to know the folks at the next table! Shared... More

The description of beer hall with Tai food is apt. Huge, crowded, and very noisy on a Saturday night. Some good beer options and reasonably good Tai food but certainly not exceptional. Stay away if you are over 30 years old.
